Best-selling author Rachel Kodanaz is proud to announce her upcoming tour to promote her newest book, Finding Peace, One Piece at a Time. In the book, the author shares her insights and practical knowledge on what to do with the possessions left by loved ones who have passed away. This November, Kodanaz will present her new book at Author Events in eight cities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Missouri and Kansas.

When she lost her husband at age 31, Rachel learned to not only accept but embrace the myriad of challenges that followed. For the past 20 years, she has shared that gained wisdom as a passionate speaker, best-selling author, grief consultant and facilitator for corporations, organizations and individuals throughout the US. Rachel continues to share her knowledge through her third book, Finding Peace, One Piece at a Time.

Whether they are in physical or electronic form, possessions tell the story of the person’s life and it can be overwhelming to decide what to do with them. In her book, Finding Peace, One Piece at a Time, Rachel shares practical ways to thin, repurpose, and redistribute these possessions so they continue to share the story with future generations. Finding a new home for those items helps maintain a connection to those we have lost. Rachel shares, “It’s not about what happened; rather about what you do with what happened.”

Ora DeMorrow, Senior Financial Advisor and Vice President for Merrill Lynch, says, “Nobody likes to sit down and listen to a talk about life’s challenges. But somehow, Rachel makes it all Okay. Her warmth and sensitivity, and especially her story, enables us to hear brutal honesty and embrace it, rather than fear it. Bravo, Rachel Kodanaz.”
