The 12th Annual A Hamptons Happening marked the 40th Anniversary of the founding of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) by noted oncologist and cancer researcher Samuel Waxman, MD. The benefit, which took place on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at the residence of Maria and Kenneth Fishel, featured 40 of the top chefs and restaurants in New York City and the Hamptons. The NYC 5K Schlep 2016: Raising awareness and funds for Breast and Ovarian Cancer
Battery Park NYC, Sunday, June 5th--- On an overcast June morning, hundreds of people came out to support the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center’s Sixth Annual Cheryl Diamond NYC 5K SCHLEP Run/Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer. The picturesque scene at Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park drew schleppers, runners, walkers and volunteers of all ages and abilities to participate in a 5K race and walk on the Battery Park promenade, opposite the Statue of Liberty. Participants travelled from all around the Tri-State area and from across the United States to support the cause, some from Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, and even as far as Israel.
