June 6, 2017 By admin Leave a Comment

As Immigration/Refugees Remain Top Priority for Lawmakers There has been ongoing debate over the issue of immigration and refugees for many months here in the U.S. and around the world. Ayurveda Cafe

August 29, 2012 By editor Leave a Comment

Ayurveda is very clear when it comes to food. Sattvic (pure) food is needed to heal and maintain good health and must incorporate six tastes in every meal: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, astringent and pungent. Ayurveda is the science of life, a 5,000-year-old traditional holistic system of well-being from India. 'ayur' means 'of life' and Veda' means 'knowledge'. Ayurveda is the knowledge of longevity which offers healing, rejuvenation and self-realization through balanced food, herbs, yoga, massage, aroma, and meditation.
