I am passionate about living a green healthier life. Green For A Reason was created as a hub for green building professionals and products, so that everyone could have easier access to those who are helping us live in a healthier environment as well as having less of an impact on our planet.
I thought I was living a healthy life but as I started my research on the materials currently being used to build our homes, I began to realize that there were many toxins in our everyday life and environment that I knew nothing about. In my struggle and search for a healthier home I decided to compile my knowledge and findings and open this website to people all over the world, so they too could find healthier, greener products and professionals who are passionate about … [Continue reading...]
It was so nice meeting you today and thank you so much for filming us and helping us get our message out there! This is an organization I am very passionate about and have been a chair person for this event for 3 years now. This event helps raise awareness to people who have been affected by cancer. Everyone has been affected in some way and this event brings hope to those battling and remembrance to those lost. My inspiration for this event was watching my beautiful mother battle cancer. Watching her go through pain, surgeries, radiation, and numerous medications made me realize how important it is to cherish life and to finish your fight. I am so thankful and proud of my mom for fighting this terrible disease and proving to me how strong people are. My mom has been a … [Continue reading...]
"To know yourself as the Being underneath the thinker, the stillness underneath the mental noise, the love and joy underneath the pain, is freedom, salvation, enlightenment."
"Thinking is a wonderful tool if it's applied. Thinking, however, can not become the master. Thinking is a very bad master. If you're dominated by thinking then your life becomes very restricted."

If the structures of the human mind remain unchanged, we will always end up re-creating the same … [Continue reading...]

I can't come to work today.
A moose was born on my front lawn and the mama won't let us out the front door!
In my 33 years in Michigan's Upper Peninsula,I have never seen a newborn baby moose.
The mother picked a small quiet neighborhood and had her baby in a front yard, near

lady across the street from the house said she saw it being born. We saw them at 5:30 p.m.,
so the little one was then 12 hours old. What an awesome place to live! … [Continue reading...]
