Miss Fanny Tang, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Weixing Tang will make her debut at The 60th International Debutante Ball on Monday, December 29th, 2014, in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
Fanny attends the University of Lausanne’s Faculty of Biology and Medicine in Switzerland. She plays the piano, and loves music, writing, art and sports.
Miss Fanny Tang’s father, Weixing Tang, is the President of the China Sales Group LTD. Her mother, Honglin Zhang, is the President of CAASC Europe.
For her debut, Miss Fanny Tang has chose to wear a strapless gown designed by Guo Pei, one of the most renowned designers in China. The dress features gold accents, including golden flowers embellished with Swarovski crystals.

In 1959 I started saving newspapers that had Yankees on the covers, and in 1969 I started a quest to get every major athletes autograph. I started with the NY Jets getting Joe Namath and branched out to getting my idol Mickey Mantle in the Yankee locker room, and trading pictures with his agent Roy True, to Muhammad Ali, who I became friends with and did a TNT SPECIAL with. My Jamaica High School education was highlighted by having my picture in the Daily News getting Mickey Mantle’s autograph as a senior. My 3 idols in sports were Muhammad Ali, Mickey Mantle and Dave DeBusschere. My college education at LaGuardia Community College, in 1973, as part of the 1st graduating class, provided me a scholarship to go on with my schooling at Queens College, where I graduated with Jerry Seinfeld. Michael Fred Phelps II (born June 30, 1985) is an American swimmer and the most decorated Olympian of all time with 19 medals. Phelps also holds the all-time records for gold medals (15) and gold medals in individual events (9). In winning eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Games, Phelps took the record for the most first-place finishes at any single Olympic Games. Five of those victories were in individual events, tying the single Games record. In the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Phelps has won two silver medals and one gold through July 31.

Casey Tibbs faced a life-changing event when a motorcycle accident forced him to amputate his right leg. Tibbs was a multi-sport athlete growing up, so instead of letting this disability discourage him, he found rewarding competition in the Paralympic Games.
In 2004, Tibbs became the first American active-duty military member to compete in a Paralympic Games, and is now a two-time gold medalist in the men’s 4 x 100-meter relay.
Now Tibbs has set his sights on the 2012 Olympics and partnership with Kellogg’s Olympic campaign. Tibbs follows his nutrition closely and believes that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

New study reveals preventable injuries sideline many young athletes A new study released today by Safe Kids Worldwide shows that two in five (40%) parents report that their young athletes have sustained injuries while playing team sports. Additionally, one in three parents (32%) reported that their kids have had injuries severe enough to require medical treatment. The report, Coaching Our Kids to Fewer Injuries: A Report on Youth Sport Safety, made possible by Johnson & Johnson, also shows that misperceptions and uninformed behaviors commonly result in overuse injuries, dehydration and concussions.
