My last letter was a progress report on the integration of The Ayers Group with Kelly Services. I talked at some length about the intense cross-education process through which we were getting to know each other’s capabilities and working out specifics of how to use our new relationship to add value for clients on both sides. Integration is, in many ways, a process of opening doors. As the year wound down and the process accelerated, we prepared to open one very important door: the portal that would provide Ayers clients with access to a new range of services in support of their evolving business needs. Now, at the outset of our first full year as part of the Kelly organization, I can tell you: That door is open. As part of Kelly’s Outsourcing and Consulting Group, we can assemble the resources and subject-matter experts worldwide to meet any of our clients particular human resource needs at a moment’s notice. As more and more companies look to outsource payroll and other non-core management functions, we are prepared to offer support with a wide variety of services through our peers in Outsourcing and Consulting Services. Kelly HRfirst offers expertise in recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) soltuions, customized recruitment projects, and human resource outsourcing program management. Kelly Vendor Management Solutions is your single-source management partner to help better balance supply with demand and optimize your supply chain, which leads to lower staffing costs, improved quality, and shorter cycle times all within a vendor neutral environment. Kelly Management Services offers business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions for non-core functions or departments such as payroll, contact centers, administrative back office, mail and reprographics, and warehouse distribution and light assembly. Kelly HR Consulting provides consulting services and consulting resources to help maximize a company’s investment in people and significantly improve business performance. It doesnt stop with outsourcing alternatives. We can also marshall the resources to help meet your interim staffing and recruiting needs. Through the Professional/Technical (PT) Group, we can access specialized staffing/recruiting capabilities on your behalf in a wide variety of areas, including automotive, engineering, finance, government-related work requiring security clearances, health care, IT, law, and science. I’m happy to say that our clients have begun taking advantage of this newly opened door. On the Outsourcing and Consulting Services side, we referred a client looking to staff an offshore call center to HRfirst. Other doors have opened as well. Our partners in Career Partners International (CPI) have begun providing outplacement and other services to clients referred by Kelly. And one important door offers candidates who are in outplacement with Ayers several new options: permanent or temporary placement through or employment by Kelly Services. This is just the beginning of the new era at Ayers. You’ll be hearing more from us in the year ahead about the array of services and capabilities that are available to meet your needs.
