EARTH/WATER DAY: LOVE YOUR MOTHER – LIVE CONCERT BROADCAST & EXHIBITION TAKES OVER TIMES SQUARE APRIL 22

New York, NY – April 15, 2026 – The 24th Annual Earth & Water Day “Love Your Mother” FREE Concert & Exhibition returns to Times Square (46th–47th Streets) on April 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST, uniting global voices for a powerful World Clean Energy Broadcast dedicated to peace, sustainability, and future generations.

Produced by Good News Corporation (GNC), a nonprofit humanitarian broadcaster founded in 2002, in collaboration with the Office of the New York City Comptroller Mark Levine, OMMM, and the Founders of Earth Day, this landmark event continues a decades-long tradition of inspiring environmental action through music, unity, and global participation.

Founder Reverend Paul Sladkus, All Faiths and Spiritual, who has led International Day of Peace and Earth Day concerts for over 20 years, shared: “We have been honored to work with icons like Jane Goodall and Pete Seeger. Today, we celebrate that same mission—peace, love, and hope—carried forward by future generations and millions worldwide. This is a historic nonprofit broadcast at a time when the world needs unity more than ever.”

This year’s program includes special tributes to Dr. Jane Goodall (accepted by the Jane Goodall Institute) and Pete Seeger (accepted by NYC Friends of Clearwater), as well as emerging youth voices representing the future, including Hudson Henley, son of Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman, in the movie Song Sung Blue.  Featured participants include virtual messages from global icons and UN Peace Messengers, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Stevie Wonder, and UNICEF’S Shakira, alongside Indigenous leaders, a Nobel Prize recipient, and segments from Broadway productions including Pinkalicious and AMAZE.

The five-hour LIVE broadcast will stream globally via YouTube at www.youtube.com/goodnewsbroadcast and through the world’s largest environmental broadcaster, We Don’t Have Time. Media outlets and partners may request a free broadcast feed.

In addition to live performances and speakers, the event features an interactive exhibition spotlighting humanitarian initiatives. Attendees can participate in the 2026 Earth, Health, and Peace Research Study, contribute gift cards for the homeless through the Charles Bruce Foundation, and learn about housing and environmental justice efforts with Immokalee Fair Housing. Supporting partners will also highlight global water initiatives, including efforts in Tanzania and Uganda, and will include participation from Pat Boone’s nonprofit initiatives.

ZAZ10TS Gallery presents Fractured, a solo
exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Yuli Aloni
Primor, on view March 26 – June 21, 2026, in
Times Square. Installed in the gallery and
extending into the public sphere through the
ZAZ Corner digital billboard in Times Square,
the exhibition places an intimate visual language
within the accelerated rhythm of public urban
space. The two contexts exist in productive
friction: the private made monumental, the
monumental made vulnerable. The exhibition
extends from gallery space into one of the
world’s most visible urban screens.
The work draws on two traditions of repair—Kintsugi, the Japanese practice in which broken
ceramics are reconstituted with gold so the fracture becomes its most radiant element, and
Tikkun, the Jewish ethical imperative to mend a broken world. Together, they form a politics of
visibility: an insistence that the seam be acknowledged rather than erased.
Working between digital technologies and oil painting, Aloni Primor constructs a feminine
mythology suspended between personal history and cultural narrative, between psychological
interiority and public surface. Identity here is neither stable nor given. It is continually
negotiated, fractured, and rebuilt through the tension between external expectation and inner
experience.
As the artist reflects, “The fracture is not failure. It is where the interior becomes visible—where
the private mythology of a woman presses outward into form.”
Within a city that continues, almost against its own velocity, to insist on gestures of human
presence, Fractured proposes that repair is not restoration. It is transformation, and the
fracture, made visible, becomes the work itself.
Alongside the gallery exhibition, the work will also be programmed on the ZAZ Corner
Billboard as part of the In Between programming from March 26 to April 24, 2026. Displayed in
15-second intervals on a large LED screen at the intersection of 41st Street and 7th Avenue,
the work enters the visual landscape of Times Square, introducing moments of reflection.

Dawn Tolson has worked in the events space for over 20 years. She joined the Mayor’s Office in 2014, as the Director of Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO). As Director Ms. Tolson oversaw the permitting of high-profile events including, Thanksgiving Day Parade, New Year’s Eve, NBA All-Star, Papal Visit, Formula E, Summer Streets, Fashion Week and Apple Launch.  She also modernized SAPO procedures and updated permitting rules and administrative protocols.
In 2019 Ms. Tolson began working at Gracie Mansion were as Executive Director she partnered with the Gracie Mansion Conservancy (GMC), Historic House Trust (HHT) and the Parks Department to maintain the historical aspects of Gracie, including supervising the installation of art exhibits, and ensuring that Gracie Mansion remains “The People’s House” and a private home to Mayor of New York City.
Prior to joining the Mayor’s office, Ms. Tolson spent eight years with American Council On renewable Energy (ACORE) as the Senior Vice President of Events and Information Technology, where she coordinated the planning, marketing and logistics for all ACORE conferences, teleconferences, special events and programs. She was also responsible for managing the design and marketing of all ACORE websites.
Before joining ACORE, Ms. Tolson worked as the Program Director of Reaching Out to Others Together (ROOT) a Washington, DC based nonprofit. Ms. Tolson previously spent over seven years working as a Marketing Director and Coordinator in the entertainment industry. She created and managed tours for independent and signed artists, working with labels including Disney Music, Universal Music Group, and Sony Music Group.
Dawn Tolson attended Howard University in Washington DC. An epicure, she enjoys music, travel, snowboarding, and currently resides in Harlem.
