On November 19, 2015, Radio Woodstock 100.1 was thrilled to present the Dyson Center for Cancer Care with a $41,274.79 check to benefit breast cancer research at Vassar Brothers Medical Hospital. The fundraising was an accomplishment of the 17th Annual Pink October Request-a-Thon weekend at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, an online auction, live raffle, and various activities and attractions.
Radio Woodstock 100.1 could not have done this without its loyal listeners, local businesses and sponsors: Nixie Sparrow, The Reis Group Insurance, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Markertek, N&S Supply, Dutchess Cars, Haven Spa and Healey Brothers.

In the past four years Radio Woodstock has raised over $350,000 dollars for the Dyson Center for Cancer Research. Vassar Brothers Medical Center is one of only 21 accredited Comprehensive Cancer Centers in New York State and the first in the Mid¬-Hudson Valley; the cause is far reaching for our community. The outpouring of support has been truly amazing as Radio Woodstock listeners and sponsors come together for a cause that affects all of us.

Radio Woodstock is a multi-media company that includes the award-winning radio station, Radio Woodstock 100.1 WDST, Woodstock’s hometown radio station, as well as internet radio stations, Radio Woodstock 69 and Radio Woodstock Live Events. All three are available online at RadioWoodstock.com.
