Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.

But achieving true peace entails much more than laying down arms. It requires the building of societies where all members feel that they can flourish. It involves creating a world in which people are treated equally, regardless of their race, color & creed.

9/11 is a Day of Remembrance here in America, but it is also a Day of Remembrance around the world, as the WORLD TRADE CENTER represents people from around the world. Good News Corporation, a nonprofit, est. 2002 to create humanitarian projects has been strengthening a message for the International Day of Peace 9/21.  Our 9/11 MISSION is to continue to strengthen a mission for World Peace and there is no better place than Central Park, Great Lawn which represents

9/11 concept and methodology & ground plan

Create a Human Peace Sign with 18,000 people, breaking the 15,000 person record.  We will be singing peace & love songs to prerecorded music, there will be some preapproved talent performing. We will request wearing native costumes, hold flags of their countries, hold hug-a planets, peace pole ceremony naming all countries. Artwork/photos around the circumference of Great Lawn. Ringing Worldwide Hero Bells at 6:54 – 658pm, 6:59 – 7pm  MOMENT OF SILENCE closing, event runs from 4pm-7pm.  Peace Sign was created for disarmament.

Create a Worldwide atmosphere for Peace, by having 6 Large LED screens placed on the dirt area/home plates and one LED on the stage that represent all 7 continents.  We will show video from each continent of people creating peace in their communities. Over 1,000 partner organizations will be invited.

Create an opportunity to learn about adopting an animal, a child and an opportunity for people to be married at the event by Reverend Paul TBD

Peace messengers, celebrities, and leaders in the peace movement in the 9/11 broadcast

The NY Chapter is thrilled to announce that the 65th Annual NY Emmy Awards will be livestreamed on Saturday October 8th in two separate ceremonies.
The Creative Arts Ceremony will begin at 3:30 and last until about 5pm. This ceremony will celebrate the outstanding work produced by the NY Chapter’s craftspeople. That ceremony can be viewed live at these links.

CONCEPT – Good News Corporation, nonprofit – Headquartered in New York with Full Time Office. Additional offices in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa. Partners with many corporations/organizations/countries/philanthropists. 193 countries of the UN agreed to the International Day of Peace – Peace Day and we will work with Peace Ambassadors from each country.

BUDGET: Our total budget is approx. $15 Million TBD. However, in essence the more money raised, the more we can do to help create a more powerful ACTIONABLE Peace Day and broadcast it.

LOCATIONS/VENUES: Great Lawn in Central Park, Times Square, to the borders of war zones, to the streets of violence, to creating water wells in Afghanistan and feeding children.

We mentioned last week that nonprofit, Good News Corporation, has decided to postpone for the Greater Good our Times Square Peace Day Party and after party at Playa Betty/Westside Comedy Club Events on September 21, 2021, as Times Square is a very open location and we have a concern of COVID Variants.
