Ordinary Terrible Things by Anastasia Higginbotham. The first book is called Divorce Is the Worst, but each book takes on an ordinary but nonetheless harsh experience in the lives of many children. Future books will take on death of a relative, sexual abuse, and bullying.
The book is a great antidote to “conscious uncoupling.” Guests will include the author, a family therapist, a lawyer/mediator who deals with divorce, and a school therapist who conducts Banana Splits, a national program for kids with divorced homes.
