After a period of deep stillness and reflection following the passing of our beloved teacher, Andrew Cohen, we are now slowly emerging from a three-month pause. This time of silence has been both a mourning and a deep listening—a turning inward to honor the profound impact of Andrew’s life and teaching. Connected to the ongoing movement of evolutionary becoming, we are gently resuming our rhythm.

The weekly silent meditation at Manifest Nirvana will now continue, offering a space to commune in the vastness of the Ground of Being, to rest in the still center of all that is, and to affirm together that the flame of awakened consciousness he so passionately ignited lives on—in us, and through us.

Premise

Frank Shankwitz, an Arizona motorcycle cop with a troubled past, survives a near-fatal accident during a high-speed pursuit. As part of Frank’s rehabilitation, police chief Sgt. Eddie Newman asks him to spend time with a terminally ill little boy, Michael, whose dying wish is to be a Highway Patrol motorcycle officer. To Michael, Frank is a hero and an unlikely friendship is born. The boy inspires Frank to follow a new path, which leads to the creation of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Movie epilogue states that over 450,000 wishes have been granted since the beginning of the charity.

The event will feature the Choir of St. Volodymyr Cathedral, Conductor Nataliya Vashchenko from 160 W 82nd Street in New York performing at the Actors Temple at 339 West 47th Street Historic Ukrainian Benefit on 0321. This event was special as both the Jewish and the Ukrainian Orthodox communities had a common goal to help the people of the Ukraine. GNC will start their April 22 event by broadcasting the beginning of this Historic Event with the singing of the Ukrainian National Anthem and God Bless America. The Benefit Funds will go equally to St.Volodymyr.Church – Help UA and the Actors Temple UJAFED.NewYork.Ukraine.Crisis Fund. The peaceful aid is medical or water related items, i.e., food.
