The Event: International Day of Peace, Peace Day Party www.peacedayparty.org

Where: Times Square, Duffy Park/In front of TKTS Bleachers.

When: Thursday, September 21, 2017 (Central Park/Band Shell at 11am 9/17)

Time: 11am to 12:30pm

Why: All the 193 countries of the UN unanimously agreed to a Day of Peace. McKinsey & Co. state that there are 1.6 Billion people aware.

What: Good News Corporation, a non-profit, est. 2002, CREATES THE LARGEST HUMAN PEACE SIGN in Times Square. Participants sing/dance/Hugg-A-Planets and at 12 noon conduct a MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR PEACE and then watch a PEACE CELEBRITY STUDDED 5 minute MESSAGE OF PEACE VIDEO on the Clear Channel BILLBOARD in Times Square 1567 Broadway/47th.

Participants in the video are: Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Michael Douglas, Dr Jane Goodall, Dr. Mahmet Oz, Ed Asner, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Leonardo DiCaprio, Stevie Wonder, Shikira singing Imagine, World Peace Orchestra, Broadway Show Annie, Manjushree Orphanage/Dr. Kazuko, Calligraphy for Peace & Happiness, Secretary Generals Ban Ki-Moon & Antonio Guterres to name a few.
