ZAZ10TS Gallery presents Fractured, a solo
exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Yuli Aloni
Primor, on view March 26 – June 21, 2026, in
Times Square. Installed in the gallery and
extending into the public sphere through the
ZAZ Corner digital billboard in Times Square,
the exhibition places an intimate visual language
within the accelerated rhythm of public urban
space. The two contexts exist in productive
friction: the private made monumental, the
monumental made vulnerable. The exhibition
extends from gallery space into one of the
world’s most visible urban screens.
The work draws on two traditions of repair—Kintsugi, the Japanese practice in which broken
ceramics are reconstituted with gold so the fracture becomes its most radiant element, and
Tikkun, the Jewish ethical imperative to mend a broken world. Together, they form a politics of
visibility: an insistence that the seam be acknowledged rather than erased.
Working between digital technologies and oil painting, Aloni Primor constructs a feminine
mythology suspended between personal history and cultural narrative, between psychological
interiority and public surface. Identity here is neither stable nor given. It is continually
negotiated, fractured, and rebuilt through the tension between external expectation and inner
experience.
As the artist reflects, “The fracture is not failure. It is where the interior becomes visible—where
the private mythology of a woman presses outward into form.”
Within a city that continues, almost against its own velocity, to insist on gestures of human
presence, Fractured proposes that repair is not restoration. It is transformation, and the
fracture, made visible, becomes the work itself.
Alongside the gallery exhibition, the work will also be programmed on the ZAZ Corner
Billboard as part of the In Between programming from March 26 to April 24, 2026. Displayed in
15-second intervals on a large LED screen at the intersection of 41st Street and 7th Avenue,
the work enters the visual landscape of Times Square, introducing moments of reflection.

The Zabar’s Story
90 years, and 4 generations later, Zabar’s family business is still going strong.

Our father and mother, Louis and Lillian Zabar, started the business back in 1934, opening a 22-foot-wide shop along NYC’a Broadway at West 80th Street. Louis was a real stickler for quality, roasting his own coffee, and personally visiting smokehouses to sample and inspect the fish – rejecting far more than he accepted.

The principles and practices of our founder and father continue to guide us: Respect the customer. Never, ever stint on quality. Offer fair value. And last but not least, keep searching for the new and wonderful.

Without question, this last point has accounted for some memorable moments. Back in the 1960’s, we introduced New York to Brie, in the ‘70’s we brought them sun-dried tomatoes and gnocchi, and in the ‘80’s, we got so excited about caviar – and wanted everyone to taste it – that our prices set off a so-called “Caviar War”. (Incidentally, we won.)

Over the years, the business kept growing, and today we span practically the entire block front. With our sons, daughters and their cousins, we’re still at it – hand-slicing meltingly delicious smoked fish behind our deli counter…offering tastes of the latest artisanal cheeses…setting out fresh-baked batches of rugelach (it’s our Bubbe’s recipe)…overseeing the roasting of our special coffee blends (we sell 400,000 pounds a year!) Retire? Not on your life – we’re having too much fun!

As Louis taught us, to succeed as a family business, you have to love each other, and love the business – in our case, great food, great service, great prices, great folks. We ask you, what’s not to love?!

Here’s to another 80 years, and then some! Heartfelt thanks for your patronage.

(February 26, 2025 – New York, NY)— Tony winning Producer Rose Caiola together with veteran Talent Manager and Producer Cyrena Esposito welcome the next powerhouse casts for the world premiere of MY FIRST EX-HUSBAND, the new hit show by comedy maven Joy Behar at Off-Broadway’s newest venue, MMAC Theater at 248 West 60th Street.

Directed by Randal Myler, the 90-minute show called “as relatable as it is outrageous” by People Magazine has award-winning comedienne Judy Gold (HBO/Comedy Central), Emmy Award winner Susan Lucci (All My Children), Cathy Moriarty (Raging Bull, Soapdish) and Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins (Jelly’s Last Jam, Caroline or Change, Sistas) from February 26 to March 23.

From March 26 to April 20, the cast will feature OBIE winner Talia Balsam (HBO’s Divorce, Homeland), Veanne Cox (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Emmy nominee Jackie Hoffman (Only Murders in the Building, Feud: Betty and Joan), and Andrea Navedo (Jane The Virgin). Balsam replaces the previously announced Gina Gershon who had a scheduling conflict.

TONYA PINKINS. Renowned theater actress, Pinkins is a three-time Tony nominee, winning the award in 1992 for her performance as Sweet Anita in Jelly’s Last Jam. Over the course of her career in theater, she has also been recognized with Opie, Lortel, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, AUDLECO, Garland, LA Drama Critics Circle, Clarence Derwent and NAACP Theater awards. On television, Pinkins can currently be seen in Tyler Perry’s popular dramedy series Sistas, and she recently starred in the critically acclaimed ABC limited series Women of the Movement. Pinkins also appeared in the series God Friended Me, Fear the Walking Dead, Gotham, 24 and J.J. Abrams’ 11.22.63. Notable silver screen credits include Above the Rim, The Book of

JOY BEHAR (Playwright) is among today’s leading comic talents. Whether performing stand-up comedy or interviewing politicians and artists, she is an original voice and leading woman on both stage and screen. She was a member of the original cast of ABC’s “The View” for 16 years, returning as co-host in September 2015 for the show’s three most recent seasons. Along with winning the 2009 Daytime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host, Behar is also the recipient of three MAC Awards, a CableACE Award and a 2000 GLAAD Award for her enduring friendship with the LGBTQ+ community. On television, she starred in two HBO specials and was a regular on the series “Baby Boom.” She also appeared in Woody Allen’s Amazon series “Crisis in Six Scenes.” In June 2016, Behar was inducted into the Brooklyn Walk of Fame at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, joining an impressive list of Brooklynites honored for their distinguished work in entertainment, sports, media and the arts. CYRENA ESPOSITO (Producer) is a long-time talent manager, former talent agent, and founder of Red Letter Entertainment, representing  some of the industry’s finest and award-winning talent. Cyrena is a producer on Broadway’s Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, which was nominated for nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical Revival. She also co-produced the Tony Award-winning musical, Memphis as well as Spiderman on Broadway. She got her BFA in Theatre and began her career as an actress. MMAC THEATER is New York City’s newest Off-Broadway theater. It is the next step in the evolution of the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center’s celebrated studio spaces that have long been used for dance performances, workshops and industry presentations. Many of these projects have gone on to commercial production including Rock & Roll Man, Hamilton , Cinderella, Pretty Woman, Billy Elliot, MJ, and over 100 others. The most famous city in the world is undoubtedly New York. In Central Park in Manhattan, plants and birds coexist harmoniously with humans, making it a happy living place. Surrounding the park, in thousands of buildings, reside world-renowned celebrities, Hollywood stars, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, and new wealthy elites from China. Despite their different languages and skin colors, they share their space politely and graciously. Next to Central Park is a mile-long avenue known as “Museum Mile,” home to countless genuine artifacts from the Metropolitan to the Guggenheim, including treasures looted from China by the Eight-Nation Alliance.

New York boasts many famous avenues and streets. World-famous brand stores like LV, Chanel, and Estée Lauder are neighbors on Fifth Avenue, and many others extending to the 42nd Street and intersecting with Broadway, the birthplace of stunning musicals and home to shows such as The Lion King, Aladdin, Cats, Marry Poppins and many more. Time Square is called the crossroads of the world, bustling 24/7 with tourists capturing every moment on their iPhones. At this global crossroads stands the giant Nasdaq screen, showcasing ticker symbols of at least 350 Chinese listed companies, telling the world about their dreams from China.

Broadway is where dreams take place. The buildings around Broadway have been telling many dreams, one of which is a Chinese brand – The Haier Group. For the past 20 years, the story has continued.

In the early 1980s, at the start of China’s reform and opening-up, Haier Group, which imported a German technology from a German company called Liebour Haier. The German company insisted that the backward poor Chinese electronics in Qingdao must carry their names or at least one word/ Liebour or Haier. The Chinese company chose the later for the namesake of an ocean – “hai er “ sounds in Chinese like ocean. The company soon grew into a giant conglomerate and became China’s top brand manufacturing high quality refrigerators.In 2002, Haier took a bold step and as the first Chinese company going global and ventured into the US. They established its presence at 1356 Broadway – The Haier Building. Despite various challenges, including the fluctuating US-China relations, Haier Group has remained steadfast. People need to eat, and food needs to stay fresh, making a good refrigerator is essential. The era of eating spoiled food and drinking dirty water should never return. In the upcoming era of AI robots coexisting with humans, having a comfortable, jointly created US-China smart kitchen at home and enjoying fresh, varied, healthy meals from an open kitchen is something to look forward to, isn’t it?

Walking a few blocks down Broadway brings you to 1227 Broadway. There stands the Virgin Hotel, built by John Lam in collaboration with Richard Branson, chairman of Rolling Stone Entertainment Magazine and one of the world’s three private spaceship manufacturers alongside Elon Musk and Jeffery Bezos. Yes, the renowned Virgin Hotel is located at 1227 Broadway, New York, NY 10001 and Branson’s partner is a Chinese individual on New York soil, you didn’t read it wrong or hear it wrong.

The name Virgin signifies unexplored territory, symbolizing bold exploration and adventure. Even after Branson’s Virgin spacecraft crashed into eight pieces while returning from the moon, he stood smiling beside it, undeterred in his space suit. Mortality is inevitable, and business innovation might fail, but for whom do we live and die?

Virgin Airlines, Virgin Cruise, Virgin Hotel – Branson designed these for the future generation capable of making history. Without these visionary and skilled individuals, we wouldn’t be enjoying the benefits of AI today from the comfort of our homes. Branson aims to create a hotel where these elite genius can quietly and undisturbed explore the future world, the mysteries of the universe, and extraterrestrial life. After their tireless efforts for our comfort, they need a place to rest in a modern and an innovative hotel for the future. This hotel must be neighbors with companies like Open AI, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and IBM. The remarkable achievements from these technology companies and research institutes, from laboratories to markets, are not accomplished overnight. Such extraordinary technological projects and engineering studies, benefiting humanity, require an exceptional group of young talents. Without them, today’s booming US stock market might lose its vitality and competitiveness, wouldn’t it?

Branson, flying his Virgin plane (not spacecraft) over New York for ten years, sought a partner to create a future-leading, world-class hotel. Amidst New York’s lush trees and blooming flowers, he found his partner in John Lam ( or Lin Jianzhong in Chinese), who came from Hong Kong and mainland China 60 years ago. Over 50 years, Lam has become the hotel king of Manhattan. His Lam Group is renowned throughout New York and the Chinese community worldwide.

Who is John Lam? How did he achieve his success? Does he share any Chinese genes with the people who inhabit in the Haier Building? If Haier refrigerators tell the story of China’s 1 billion people rising from poverty, what story does Lam Group want to tell? If the century-old trees in Central Park dream of seeing the future world, perhaps a city’s dream is to become that one – a future city itself. The people of New York might dream of the same dream like John Lam, making their city even more beautiful and attractive. Every green leaf, every sidewalk brick, every steel plate, and every piece of spacious glass walls and windows tell the same story of dream catchers – the iron will and gentle romance combine into one , moment by moment, piece by piece.

John Lam accepted this challenge bestowed on him. He turned Branson’s dream into reality in New York City on Broadway, echoing that of Haier Group on 1356 Broadway, New York, NY 10001.

This September 21st, 2023 on the UN International Day of Peace, both in-person and global virtual audiences will experience the first ever 100% solar-powered concert in Times Square for peace and ecology, powered by multi-faceted musical artist and climate activist AY Young and his Battery Tour. Also featured is mental tranquility advocate and acclaimed singer Michel Pascal, who will be joined by US Presidential Candidate, author, and activist Marianne Williamson and Myron McKinley of Earth, Wind, & Fire. As a part of the larger five-hour Peace Day event, this concert will accompany virtual messages from legacy peacekeepers like Ringo Starr, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Douglas, Jane Goodall, Sir Paul McCartney, Oprah Winfrey, Deepak Chopra, Joe Dispenza, Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, and Shakira. The nonprofit event producer Good News Corporation, has partnered with OMMM, UNIFY, WE.net, AY Young, Battery Tour, Playa Betty’s, Samsung, GM, BNP Paribas, New York Parks and Recreation, and Times Square Alliance.

The Battery Tour’s involvement in the Pause the World for Peace event is highly intentional. On a mission to break barriers and build bridges, AY Young was appointed by the United Nations as Global Youth Leader for the Sustainable Development Goals in 2020, Generation 17 Youth Ambassador, and SDG Champion. AY has performed over 800 concerts powered entirely by the Battery Tour’s renewable energy. “We are all outlets for change,” says the artist. And driving positive change is a major theme between Pause the World for Peace event collaborators. 

Michel Pascal will lead a dance meditation and musical performance, seamlessly combining the serenity of meditation, and the joy of dance, promising a unique and transformative experience. Pascal, co-founder of OMMM which is a movement to create a positive impact on individuals and communities worldwide through the practice of meditation, music and multimedia content. Pascal, A.K.A “The Medicine Voice,” has been performing at Carnegie Hall since 2016, while working closely with marginalized communities, including prisoners and veterans. The concert will also feature a bilingual meditation guided by Juliana Klinkert, an esteemed meditation teacher known for her work at Amity Foundation and in Hispanic communities.

Young and Pascal, along with the generations they represent, continue a wave of peace work built on the foundations of champions of peace like David Gershon (led 1986 Earth Run Torch of Peace), Ben Bowler (founder of UNITY Earth bringing cease-fires for peace), his eminence Shyalpa Rinpoche (currently building Universal Peace Sanctuary at UNESCO World Heritage Site for Peace), Jonathan Granoff (World Academy of Art & Science Fellow and UN Ambassador to the Nobel Peace Laureates), and Jeremy Gilley (founder of Peace One Day with Sir Paul McCartney message). They, like others both in New York and nationally, including Michael Fitzpatrick (25 year cellist to the Dalai Lama), Rick Ulfic & Andrew Kaen (established 11 Days of Global Unity), Reverend Susana Bastarrica & James Cannings (founded Vigil for International Day of Peace), and Reverend Deborah Muldow & Fumi Johns (of May Peace Prevail on Earth with 250,000 Peace Poles worldwide), have dedicated their lives to empowering communities, fostering cooperation, and addressing global challenges with social innovations. Seeds planted decades ago are breaking ground as a new surge of activism takes shape in a post-pandemic society ready for collaborative action.

The Pause the World for Peace event includes a special segment entitled “Peace in Action” with renowned representatives sharing the latest in major global issues, including domestic violence, school safety, human rights, human security, animal rights, climate action, and ending violence in health, politics, and religion, regardless of gender, race, or disability, promoting practical paths to a thriving life for all. A special military and police tribute for fallen heroes will be featured. 

The Pause the World for Peace event, set in the Duffy Square section of Times Square, NY, is hosted by the Good News Corporation, whose founder Reverend Paul Sladkus has coordinated global Pause the World for Peace broadcasts in Central Park for 21 years, and continues to be a leader in rallying movements for peace in action. Sladkus, who is an ordained all faith minister, implores, “193 countries in the UN unanimously agreed to a CEASE FIRE EVERYWHERE, ACTS OF PEACE & LOVE, and WE CAN DO IT. The event will run until 5:00PM EDT and will air to the world via UNIFY (received 2 billion views with the UN for Peace Day in 2017), who will broadcast the program to their combined partner audience of millions worldwide.
