A tenacious broadcaster with a burning passion for accurate and compelling story telling and the host of the long running television program, Renee Mehrra has been consistently singled out by the Asian Indian community as one of the most prominent broadcast journalists in the tri state area. Her areas of focus include politics, human interest stories, fashion, film, theater, health & fitness, environment, and current affairs. Her in depth candid reports have captured the diverse ethnic fiber in the US in an inspirational and incisive manner. She has interviewed diverse personalities: from the unsung heroes that have enriched our lives to renowned musicians, artists, philosophers, authors, doctors, entrepreneurs to the crowd stopping celebrities of Bollywood. Her signature show- “Renee Report” has delivered top notch quality content to its audience in an informational and entertaining style for several years.

She is the Associate Director, Department of External Affair for NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens. Renee is the President of Reenbow Media LLC, an advertising, broadcasting and public relations Company in the US. She serves as an advisor in the Women’s Cabinet to the NYC Mayor’s office of Immigrant Affairs.

An indefatigable advocate for the South Asian community and a civic and community educator, Renee has dedicated herself to addressing the needs of immigrant communities of the tri state area through television and print media and her nonprofit organization POWER (Providing Our Women Equal Rights) to deepen their awareness about their rights as New Americans so they can create their own stories of success
