Participants sing/dance/Hugg-A-Planets/ Proclamations Unveiling of Reid Stowe’s Peace Day Party Environmental Art Creation from the man who is the record breaking sailor who lived at sea for 1,152 days with his girlfriend Sonya Ahmad who became pregnant with their son leaving Schooner Anne at 305 days, celebrity entertainment to be announced shortly and at 12 noon conduct a MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR PEACE. We will watch the premiere trailer for Woodstock Forever: Peace, Love & HOPE Movie, which includes 20th Anniversary of Woodstock with Richie Havens and a group from Woodstock/Bethel celebrating the Anniversary, which we taped at Times Square/Duffy Square in 1989 on a Lunar Eclipse Day. (NOTE: Times Square looked much different!, there was only a few billboards and we used the one on 1 Times Square where the Ball drops for a Next Generation Message, HISTORIC). Fats Waller’s Rhythm, by ballerina turned choreographer Morgan McEwen, takes on the music of legendary Harlem stride pianist and composer, Fats Waller. MorDance, with dancers from some of the world’s most prestigious companies, is joined by bassist/composer Benjamin Gallina and six of New York’s top jazz musicians for an evening of explosive live music and dance.

MORDANCE’s residency at City College Center for the Arts is part of the CUNY Dance Initiative, which receives major support from the Mertz Gilmore Foundation, the Howard Gilman Foundation, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Additional support is provided by the Jerome Robbins Foundation, the Fan Fox and Leslie R. Samuels Foundation, and the Harkness Foundation for Dance. White Party in Central Park!

This is a private party for my family, friends and also for donors to Media 4 Humanity (my charity). This is a very NY event with some of the kindest and coolest NYers!

Attire: White & very elegant
(Maybe we’ll be on the NY Times society page again!)

Serving: Passed hors d’oeuvres from many of Manhattan’s finest restaurants. A “tastings” like no other!

Silent auction: Sports tix and memorabilia, African safaris, fine jewelry, dinner-for-two’s, etc. Please let me know if you have access to good prizes for us.
Performers: Perhaps belly dancers, fencers, ballerinas, jugglers, etc.

For Children: Potato sack races and a snow ball fight!
