Last Tuesday night, a devastating earthquake hit Haiti, just 15km from the capital. Reaching a magnitude of 7.0, this is the worst earthquake Haiti has experienced in 200 years. The extent of the devastation is still unclear but there are fears tens of thousands of people have died. Three million more are affected as schools, hospitals and homes have collapsed. Haiti is one of the worlds poorest countries, meaning that vital services like electricity and water are now almost completely inaccessible in the wake of the destruction. At this moment, the children of Haiti need our support more than ever! They need water, food, blankets and clothing. The photos in the newspapers and on the news of the children in the streets with nothing, has saddened so many Americans, asking what we can do to help!

When my six year old son asked what he could do, I decided to throw a benefit concert next Saturday, January 30th from 10am-12pm.

All the money that is raised from this Haiti Relief Kids Concert will go directly to the Red Cross.
