We are very proud of the Mayor’s Press/Photo Op Conference at City Hall on Friday, September 19^th, where Deputy Mayor Varlack rang the FOWPAL Ancient Peace Bell, and our dear friend Pastor Monrose joined the respectful ceremony. A Peace Pole, from May Peace Prevail on Earth, was given to the City of New York. Additionally, a New York City Citation was presented to the nonprofit Good News Corporation, est. In 2002, Founder Paul Sladkus, who has accepted it for everyone who, over the last 23 years, has dedicated themselves to our peace efforts.

The vast majority of public companies are either retaining or ramping up their climate commitments, with companies found to be more than twice as likely to be increasing their emissions reduction goals than decelerating them, according to a new study released by professional services firm PwC, based on data from climate research provider and environmental disclosure platform CDP.

The study also found that the practice of setting climate goals is progressing down the value chain as companies increase engagement efforts, with smaller companies representing a growing proportion of those introducing new targets.

The word Woodstock became the symbol for an entire generation. The themes of Peace, Love
and Hope reverberated on those fields and around the world for days and years forward.
The legacy of Woodstock and its spirit of human potential lives on. In 1989 we created a Woodstock 20th Anniversary Celebration in Times Square a portion of which we share today along with those who represent Peace, Love and HOPE.
