Read the Full Article HERE Religious Leaders Unite for Faith and Freedom On October 16, 2025, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), FFWPU-Capital Family Church, and ACLC hosted the “Peace Starts With Me Alliance” Religious Freedom Prayer Luncheon at The Washington Times building. Despite only a week’s notice, 40 faith and community leaders gathered to support religious liberty and interfaith solidarity, focusing on the detention of Mother Han, co-founder of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, and other Christian leaders in South Korea. Dr. Achile Acolatse, Southeast Region Director, called the gathering an urgent reminder to defend freedom of faith, while Dr. Michael Jenkins, UPF-North America President, highlighted Mother Han’s decades-long work promoting peace, dialogue, and humanitarian efforts. Leaders from Christianity, Islam, and Sikhism offered prayers, shared messages of solidarity, and coordinated special prayer services to advocate for justice and freedom. Feeding an Army of hungry Soldiers requires serious planning, but keeping meals tasty and healthy takes a whole new level of talent, creativity, and skill.

The nutritious food Army chefs dish out to Soldiers is driven by the Army’s “Go For Green” program that labels food either green (fresh produce, whole grains, lean fish), yellow (seafood, red meat, pasta), or red (desserts, fried foods, cheeses) to make it easy for Soldiers to find high-performance foods and drinks that boost their fitness, strength, and health.

As the weather cools down, award-winning Army chef and Staff Sergeant (SSG) Samantha Poe is dishing up delectable fall favorites, including a delicious and healthy beet cake full of essential vitamins that can help with blood pressure and athletic performance, which helped lead the U.S. Army Culinary Arts Team to a silver medal at the 2020 World Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart, Germany. SSG Poe was also named the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Pastry Chef of the Year in 2019.

The UN International Day of Conscience has come during a Pandemic when our World Needs Life Affirmation with a Conscience for Peace and Love for ALL

Founder Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, Founder of FOWPAL, Federation of World Peace on March 5, 2020 at the Second World Sustainable Development Forum, Durango, Mexico stated, “The outbreaks and rapid spread of infectious diseases also pose great challenges. To stay healthy, humans must learn to live a balanced life, coexist harmoniously with nature, and cooperate with one another.”

At a World Leader Summit of Love and Peace, co-organized by the FOWPAL and the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, on September 27, 2019 at the UN headquarters. H.E. Shaikh Hussam bin Essa Al Khalifa, President of H.R.H. Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Sustainable Development Award Committee, shared a message of H.R.H. Prince Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain, regarding the UN’s adoption of Bahrain’s resolution designating April 5 as the International Day of Conscience.

“This day will be, from now on, a new, constructive, regular and consistent way to mobilize the international community’s efforts to promote peace for security of peoples and communities and achieve sustainable development goals.”

FOWPAL had created a major “LIVE EVENT” to be held in Times Square, New York City on April 5th, but on Monday March 9th decided to postpone this great event that was months in the making. Dr. Hong states, “It is in our conscience to have responsibility and mission to make actions and decisions that are based on Love and Peace. Postponing our major event meets our mission to care for the safety of all.”
Along with headline entertainment at the Times Square event, FOWPAL had planned to ring their Bell of World Peace and Love, which has been rung by 390 visionary leaders from 121 nations inc. 43 heads of state and government & 7 Nobel Peace Prize laureates.
