ATLANTA, GA — The Captain Planet Foundation recently announced the launch of the 2026 Green Heart STEM Challenge, welcoming its largest cohort to date with nearly 5,000 students, 132 educators, and 71 schools across 11 states participating. 

The Green Heart STEM Challenge is delivered through a hybrid model, with in-person programming in metro Atlanta, Houston, and Miami, alongside virtual participation that enables schools in additional states to engage fully. This structure supports deep, place-based learning in core communities while expanding national access.

Designed for students in grades 6–9, the Challenge blends STEM learning with real-world problem solving, guiding students to identify environmental challenges in their communities and develop practical, implementable solutions. It follows a rotating, four-year cycle focused on EARTH, WIND, FIRE, and WATER, ensuring students explore a broad range of environmental systems and solutions over time.

The 2026 Challenge features EARTH, with students exploring issues such as soil health, tree canopy, composting, and food waste. Educators onboard students to the Challenge platform, where teams form, research, and begin building solutions rooted in local needs.

“What sets this Challenge apart is that students are mentored and funded to implement their winning ideas,!” said Leesa Carter-Jones, President and CEO of Captain Planet Foundation. “They’re not just learning about environmental challenges, they’re designing solutions and being held accountable for real outcomes.”

Since its launch, the Challenge has shown growing, measurable impact. In recent cycles, hundreds of student teams have progressed from ideas to formal project plans, with an increasing percentage advancing to implementation. Past winners have secured additional funding, expanded beyond their schools, and built long-term community partnerships, including teams in Atlanta and Houston continuing work well beyond the Challenge timeline. Across cohorts, student-led projects have tackled composting and food waste, erosion control and reforestation, water quality, repair-and-reuse systems, and circularity efforts reducing fast fashion and single-use waste.

The Challenge is supported by Accenture, Amazon, Delta Air Lines, Georgia Natural Gas, Green Mountain Energy, and Susan J. Klein, among others. Accenture employees also serve as volunteer mentors and project managers, helping student teams refine ideas, develop budgets, and prepare for implementation through the Challenge’s Idea Incubator.

Entering its fourth year, the Green Heart STEM Challenge continues to show what’s possible when students are trusted with real responsibility, and supported to turn ideas into action.

Inaugural Accessibility Stage Elevated Accessibility at CES The CTA Foundation debuted CES’s first-ever dedicated Accessibility Stage powered by Verizon Accessibility, with accessibility services provided by Microsoft and Aura cast broadcast audio provided by Bluetooth SIG. Located in a high-traffic area of The Venetian Convention Center, the stage featured three full days of programming and quickly became a central hub for accessibility at CES. CES 2026 Programming and Events Highlighted Accessibility Innovation CES 2026 brought together leaders advancing accessibility through the CTA Foundation. The CTA Foundation Accessibility Roundtable, presented by Salesforce, welcomed 180 attendees, while the Accessibility & AgeTech Reception gathered over 350 guests, highlighting strong engagement and collaboration across the accessibility and AgeTech ecosystem. At the Foundation’s annual Pitch Competition, presented by Next50, .lumen received the Grand Prize and Judge’s Choice Award for its AI-powered navigation solution supporting people who are blind or have low vision. Cairns Health earned the Runner-Up Award for its AI-driven digital care companion, while EverEx received the Audience Choice Award. Currently, active clinical trials are being conducted in Norway, Canada, and the UK. The Ibogaine Clinical Research Act is seeking a global alliance for the clinical trial and drug supply chain security through Access for Benefit Sharing – IP model.

* Iboga is a rainforest perennial shrub (Voacanga iboga), from which IBOGAINE is derived, native to Central Africa. This bill would create a legal and financial framework for New York to lead national policy on breakthrough addiction treatments.

On September 20, 2025, New York time, the 21st United Nations International Peace Concert in 2025, jointly produced by the World Madam Foundation, Good News, OMMM, etc., achieved complete success. The event started at 11:30 a.m. and ended at 5 p.m. with more than 100 volunteers holding the flags representing 193 countries of the United Nations forming a circle symbolizing unity and peace and calling out “Let peace Prevail” in unison. During the event, two songs, “Dear World” and “Let peace Prevail”, sparked enthusiastic responses from both online and offline audiences.

​”Dear World” was composed by Dai Rui, the President of the International Artificial Intelligence Association, who traveled a long – distance to the event site in person and sang it jointly with American male singer Mark MK McLaughlin and American female singer Renee Knorr.

“Let peace Prevail” was jointly sung by Huang Annie, the founder of the World  Madam Foundation and the representative of the composition, Liora Michelle Greeng, the 2024 Global Champion of World Mrs., American young singer Martin Qin, and American male singer Mark MK McLaughlin.

These two songs skillfully blend passionate and lyrical melodies. Through their emotionally – charged lyrics, they depict a fervent yearning for peace and a beautiful vision for future life.

The English lyrics of “Let peace Prevail” were written by Wang Jiangang, the Vice – President of the United Nations Correspondents Association. Anni Huang, the founder of the World  Madam Foundation, was responsible for the Chinese lyrics, and Liu Liangzi, the 2021 Global Runner – up of World Madam, composed the music. She and American singer Josh Moran gave the song’s premiere at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on March 8, 2024. This song has been translated into the six official working languages of the United Nations: Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish, and Arabic, and has been released around the world.

When Anni Huang was interviewed by the media and shared her creative insights, she said, “When I first entered the United Nations, I saw the words of former UN Secretary – General Ban Ki – moon, ‘The World is Over – armed, and Peace is Under – funded’, which gave me profound inspiration and a strong spiritual shock. I hope that by creating this song full of hope and strength, it can shine like a beam of light on people’s longing for peace in their hearts and inspire people to work together for world peace as a gift for the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.”

The International Day of Peace was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981. It aims to advocate a global cease – fire and non – violence, and to commemorate and strengthen the ideal of peace. This festival is set on September 21st every year, calling on all countries and peoples to stop hostilities on this day. Since its establishment, it has become a global event, encouraging people to promote peace through education and public awareness.

As of 2024, 20 United Nations International Peace Concerts had been held. These events aim to inspire action and emphasize the “initiative for peace”, jointly caring for the earth and the environment and working for peace. The 21st concert in 2025 was the largest – scale one ever. It was grandly held in Times Square and was live – streamed on various global platforms. According to incomplete statistics, the cumulative number of online viewers across all platforms exceeded 10 million.
