The Giver.  As I watched the Press Conference in awe for this outstanding movie team, I was fascinated with the author of the book Lois Lowry and the screenwriters Michael Mitnick and Robert B. Weide.  How did they weave her book to make you realize how stupid war is;  How Deceitful the Elders (the political leaders) could become and how wonderfully innocent and intuitive our youth are?

The result of this books screen adaption,  which is drenched in “the light and the darkness of life” (As suggested by Marcello Padilla, Good News Film Producer), is that our youth SAVE US from OURSELVES, THE GROWN UPS.  They see the brighter tomorrow and have the strength to make changes..BRAVO…to them, they don’t have to wonder what if I try? Their energy and fortitude is abounding!   The Giver, beautifully adapted to the screen, wonderfully portrayed by more than outstanding actors, shows that we must get our LIVING LIFE IN PEACE… TOGETHER.  This is a Peace and Love movie and helps to open up our minds to where we have been, where we are and where we might go as a human community.  The Giver is always a Giver and gives unconditionally with true intention for Good and only good.  Not selfish Good, Loving Good –  Good Lovin said the Rascals and the melodic theme music from the Giver.  BRAVO to The Weinstein Company and Walden Media, and thanks.
