SeniorNet is an international, volunteer, non-profit organization founded in 1986. It is one of the world’s largest training organization for adults 50 and over. SeniorNet’s mission is to provide seniors with education in and access to computer technology. It has Learning Centers throughout the United States.
SeniorNet at FSL, L.I. established the first learning center on Long island in Huntington in 1999. We are recognized as one of the leading learning centers in the country, having received numerous national recognition awards and local government proclamations. We offer a broad curriculum, with courses serving absolute beginners, sophisticated users, and everyone in between. We have a wide range of courses about the Internet and mobile devices. In addition to educating adults aged 50+ we are involved in many community outreach programs. We have refurbished and donated more than 5,000 PCs to charities across Long Island. We also offer courses over the Internet for home bound students.
