Great HKAG member!  I’m very pleased to announce that Montserrat Gallery in Chelsea will be
representing my work. The gallery is located at 547 West 27th St. 5th floor.

Also, April 22 at the new Jadite Gallery, 660 Tenth ave (bet. 46th and 47th)
from 5 to 9, there will be a horse-themed opening benefitting Save the Carriage
Horses with food, drink and free carriage rides. I have several pieces in this
exhibit. This show runs through May 15.

In the first week of May (date TBA) I will be having a one- person show at
Jadite on 50th St between 9th and 10th Aves.

VThe Russian Pavilion is a juried exhibition showcasing emerging and established artists from Russia, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Baltic regions during leading international contemporary art fairs in New York, Miami, and other cities. Erarta Galleries New York is a branch of the overall Erarta Museum and Global Galleries dedicated to the promotion of contemporary Russian Art. Russian Pavilion NY offers a unique forum for critics and collectors to encounter the works and some of the artists in person.

The inaugural Russian Pavilion 2013 took place in New York in March 2013 and coincided with the centennial of the famous 1913 New York Armory Show which introduced the American public to European avant-garde. Initiators of the Russian Pavilion Artem Mirolevich and Valery Yershov contributed to the spirit of the Armory Show centennial in New York by continuing the introduction of international artists to the American public. Russian Pavilion New York 2013 attracted over 1,000 visitors on its opening night, completely filling both floors of the exhibition space. The event was covered by numerous TV and press representatives reporting for leading Russian and some English language TV, magazines, newspapers and online publications. Positive reactions from visitors and media produced a continuous flow of people on following week.

Russian Pavilion NY 2014 will take place from May 4 to May 18 with a special VIP Opening on May 7th from 5-10pm on two floors with Erarta Galleries, 1043 Madison Avenue, New York City.

The show will feature paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, photography, video installations and performances by 27 artists. The artists range widely in age and country of origin. They cover several generations, from Ernst Neizvestny (1925), Sasha Meret (1955), to Artem Mirolevich (1976), Igor Molochevsky (1976), Yuliya Lanina (1973) and others. It will feature paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, photography, video installations and performances by artists whose achievements in traditional and new media made them internationally known.

Russian Pavilion NY is collaboration between Russian Pavilion and Erarta Galleries. Erarta Galleries will present mid-career and emerging artists including Dmitry Shorin, Elena Gubanova & Ivan Govorkov, Andrey Chezhin and others.

Next week we will open our doors and fences to present a weekend of Open Studios with Workspace Artists-in-Residence and Arts East River Waterfront Artists. LMCC.org.  During this weekend, we are inviting you to discover the various ways in which we activate temporary spaces (indoor and outdoor) throughout Lower Manhattan and to meet the artists developing projects at those sites. Just to give you a little background, Open Studios is our in-process programming track: it includes talks, lectures, rehearsals, visits to studios, and a chance to meet with artists working in an array of disciplines and genres.
