The upcoming IPCRI Peace Education Conference will be held on Friday-Saturday, March 12-13, 2010 in the large, wooded campus of the Talitha Kumi School.

Deadline for registration

The deadline for registration is March 5, 2010 at noon. We have past the deadline for people from Gaza to register. We submitted 25 names to the army, so far seven have been approved, we are fighting for the test.

Workshops

All participants are strongly encouraged to conduct a workshop. The program of the conference is built and based on the workshops that are delivered by the participants.

Workshops can be lectures, discussions, films, drama, experiential, meditation, yoga and reiki, etc. Everyone can present and everyone can be a workshop facilitator.

Explanation of Payment

The price for the workshop for 2 days, including meals and participation in all program activities (without a bed at the Talitha Kumi Guest House) is 300 NIS ($70).

The price for the workshop for 2 days, including meals and participation in all program activities (with a bed at the Talitha Kumi Guest House) 350 NIS ($85).

These costs do not include any salary money for IPCRI staff who will be working hundreds of hours preparing and planning the workshop.

IPCRI has no funding for this conference. We are asking everyone to pay something. The minimum payment is 100 NIS ($25). We hope that most people will be able to cover their full expenses. We will be glad if you can pay MORE than the full cost so that we can sponsor more people who are not able to pay the full costs themselves. We would appreciate if you pay for the workshop prior to arriving to the Peace Education Workshop. It is possible to pay when you arrive to the workshop but if you pay now,

We have no funding for this workshop and we need your support. All the work on these workshops is doen by volunteers. We are working to keep the costs down. Almost none of the participants pay the full amount and we need subsidizes for most of them. We urge you to support a participant in the amount of $100.
