Health insurance reform passed Congress, but health insurance does not equal health care. Today, there are millions of kids in the U.S. who do not have access to regular check-ups and timely doctors visits when sick. That is why the Childrens Health Fund (CHF), a non-profit organization committed to providing health care to the nations most medically underserved children and their families, and The Clorox Company are partnering to launch Connect Kids to Care.

To help Connect Kids to Care, Clorox is donating half a million dollars to CHF to help support CHFs goal of providing half a million health care visits to disadvantaged children across the country, over the next two years. This cause is of the utmost importance to Karen Redlener, Executive Director of CHF. Her thirty-five year career has been dedicated to improving access to health care for some of the nations most disadvantaged children. This passion inspired her to create the 50 mobile medical clinics CHF has across the country that help bring essential, continuous and comprehensive health care services directly to children who need it most.
