From the electricity that powers Army Reserve facilities, to the fuel that powers their vehicles, energy touches nearly every aspect of the Army Reserve’s mission. Conserving power can help protect our energy future.

However, we all face threats to our energy security; from increasing global demands to natural disasters, fluctuating fuel costs and innovative adversarial attacks like cyber weapons. Conservation helps ensure Soldiers have the energy they need, when and where they need it, to accomplish their missions – at home and abroad, now and in the future. The Army Reserve is also focused on prioritizing energy and water security requirements to ensure Soldiers always have available, reliable power and water to continuously sustain critical missions.

Energy Action Month is an opportunity for the Army Reserve Energy Program to help the public understand the important role everyone can play in energy conservation and resiliency and offer practical, smart energy tips that everyone can implement in their daily lives.
Simple ways for everyone to reduce their energy footprint include:
Weathering your home to eliminate air leaks and adding insulation
 Replacing your incandescent light bulbs with energy efficient compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) or light emitting diodes (LEDs)
 Creating a more energy efficient office by using natural light wherever possible
 Powering down computer monitors at end of each day
 Unplugging electronics that aren’t in use for extended periods and using power strips
 Recycle packaging materials like paper and cardboard, as we continue to increase shipping supplies to our homes

COL Martin Naranjo, Director of Army Reserve Installation Management Directorate will be available to help your audience learn more about reducing their carbon footprint. COL Naranjo will also discuss the energy conservation innovations employed by the U.S. Army Reserve and how the public can similarly do their part to reduce energy waste.

06/19/2022-Sun.-7:29pm: I called the Mamaroneck Police Station at 5:38pm (to contact Harbor Police Boat) who in turn contacted Mamaroneck Village Police Department. Officer Brian is whose voice you hear. It took a few minutes, a bit, for him to show up.
I saw and took action and made the call. The older couple in the car next to me told the officer that they had THOUGHT of calling (When?… after somebody might have gotten hurt?).
I give a lot of credit to that young boy in the kayak. In my opinion, he did an AMAZING job in what appeared to be an emergency situation. I sensed they were struggling and getting tired. The wind was making things quite challenging for them. Blessings to that young boy!!

CDC reports that an estimated 41% of U.S. adults delayed or avoided medical care during the pandemic.

And according to a 2021 article, breast, colorectal, and cervical cancer screenings dropped by more than 80% during the pandemic. While screenings have since improved, they have not returned to normal levels. These missed screenings mean people will be diagnosed at a later stage of cancer when it’s more difficult to treat, and experts have predicted these delays will result in an excess of 10,000 deaths from breast and colorectal cancer alone.

CDC urges Americans not to wait for symptoms when it comes to cancer, including breast, cervical, colon and lung cancers. The CDC Foundation and its Preventing Infections in Cancer Patients program developed a PSA, poster campaign, and a Cancer Screening Guide to help educate and encourage people to get cancer screening tests that can prevent or detect cancer early. Many of those resources are also available in Spanish.

In honor of National Cancer Survivors Day, CDC’s Dr. Lisa Richardson discusses the need for Americans to return to their routine healthcare appointments, cancer screenings, and cancer treatments.

7 things that affect your vibrational frequency from the point of view of physics.
Vibration in Quantum Physics means that everything is Energy. Any feeling causes you to emit a Vibration that can be positive or negative.

1st – The Thoughts.
Every thought you have emits a frequency to the Universe, and that frequency returns to the origin, in this case, You! So if you have negative thoughts and sadness this will all come back to you. That is why it is so important that you take care of the quality of your thoughts and learn to cultivate more positive thoughts.

2nd – The Company.
People around you have a direct influence on your frequency. If you stand beside cheerful people, you too will enter into this vibration, now if you surround yourself with complaining and pessimistic people, be careful! For they may be lowering their vibrational frequency.Remember, You are the Average of those 5 people you spend most time with.

3rd – The Songs.
Songs are very powerful. Pay attention to the lyrics of the songs you listen to and remember: you attract into your life exactly what you vibrate.

4th – Watch what You Watch:
When you watch programs that address misfortune. Your brain accepts it as a reality and releases all the chemistry in your body, causing your vibrational frequency to be affected. Watch things that do you good.

5th – The Environment. Whether at home or at work, if you spend a lot of your time in a messy, unclean environment, it will also affect your frequency. Improve what is around you.
Show the Universe that you are fit to receive much more. Take care of what you already have!

6th – The Speech.
If you complain or speak badly about things and people, that also affects you. Eliminate the habit of complaining and speaking ill of others. Take Responsibility for the Choices of Your Life.

7th – Gratitude.
