The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, Inc. is a New York State Corporation granted tax-exempt 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It dual objectives are to offer microgrants and ‘spotlighting’ to individuals and organizations bettering humanity in the fields of the Arts, Education, and Orphan Care. The J. Luce Foundation is most active in the U.S., Afghanistan, Cuba, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Peru, and Sri Lanka.

The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, Inc. began in 2009 and was inspired by college professor Stanford Livingston Luce, Jr. who passed away in 2007. The Foundation publishes The Stewardship Report on Connecting Goodness (link). The Stewardship Report has highlighted/spotlit over 1,500 organizations and individuals uplifting humanity.

Bristol Mountain, http://www.bristolmountain.com/ is a Good Samaritan and one of the facilities that has the Oasis Program, www.oasisadaptivesports.com at their premier resort located in the Western Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. The resort sits on a base elevation of 1000 feet. We applaud Bristol Mountain and Oasis for this outreach.

OASIS Adaptive Sports, Inc. (Outdoor Adventures for Sacrifice in Service) is a non-profit organization offering instruction, equipment and support to disabled military veterans in a variety of sports activities. We assist these veterans in reconnecting and resuming productive lives in society through participation in outdoor recreational activities that promote independence, and social and emotional well-being. Our mission is to do everything possible to make each outdoor experience meaningful and thereby help the veteran regain physical and mental health, with formal evaluations done by professionals in these fields. We differ from other organizations offering primarily event-type outdoor experiences to veterans by adding an evaluation and an advocacy phase to each veteran’s participation in each of our programs.
OASIS Adaptive Sports, Inc. is located in the Finger Lakes Region of western New York State, and our intent is to serve the needs of disabled veterans in the Rochester Metropolitan Statistical Area (RMSA), which includes Monroe, Livingston, Orleans, Ontario, Wayne and Genesee counties.

Good News Gets HOT tasting the sauce. It grows on you….

– The Livingston Diner at 372 Livingston Street in Brooklyn is a fantastic place to eat for anyone seeking excellent food without reaching too deep into their pockets. The atmosphere is great for any type of gathering from big groups to a quiet lunch alone.

They also offer free delivery to the Metro Tech, Brooklyn Heights, and Fort Greene areas. The head chef Julio is a wonderful person and cook who just want his customers to be happy. They serve food for whatever type of mood you’re in, breakfast, lunch and dinner at all times of the day.

The big announcement coming from the diner is that they just came out with an all new Mexican food menu on top of their already plentiful original. This includes tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, wraps, and a plethora of side dishes. This fine eatery is a go to place for the Good News team and if you haven’t been there yet, it is an absolute must!
