<p>Mikhail Kosiborod, MD, FACC, FAHA &#8211; Kansas City, MO, USA</p>
<p>Dr. Mikhail Kosiborod is a cardiologist, the Vice President of Research at Saint Luke’s Health System, Director of Cardiometabolic Research and Co-Director of the Haverty Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute, and Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Kosiborod received training in clinical research, epidemiology and health policy through the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program, as well as clinical training in cardiovascular medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Kosiborod is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of diabetes and cardiovascular disease, cardiometabolic and cardiorenal syndromes, as well as quality of care and outcomes. Dr. Kosiborod has authored and co-authored over 220 peer-reviewed publications, including scientific statements and position documents. Dr. Kosiborod is involved in the leadership of multiple clinical trials and multi-center registries, and is currently the principal investigator of several investigator-initiated, multicenter trials in diabetes and cardiovascular disease.</p>
