In celebration of love and Valentine’s Day, Michael Kors is proud to welcome acclaimed Italian-American concert pianist and composer, Ambassador of St. Valentine to the world Cristiana Pegoraro to the Rockefeller Center flagship store at 610 5th Ave / New York, NY on Wednesday, February 7. Doors open to the public at 6:30pm.

Hailed by The New York Times as “an artist of the highest caliber,” Cristiana Pegoraro will perform music from her latest album Colors of Love, inspired by great love stories.

Michael Kors will donate 20% of pre-tax purchases made during the event to the Narnia Foundation for the Arts, Inc. in support of the Narnia Festival scholarship program.

Cristiana said, “I am honored to be partnering with such an icon brand and designer as Michael Kors.  I am a huge fan!!  I love wearing Michael Kors shoes when I play in the great concert halls of the world. They are divine!”

She continued, “As we approach Valentine’s Day, my hope is to bring a little love into people’s hearts.  Thank you to Michael Kors for supporting the arts and future generations of musicians.”

Cristiana Pegoraro is the first Italian female pianist to perform all 32 Piano Sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven, and among few pianists in the world to have performed all five Beethoven Piano Concertos in a single day.

She is the founder and Artistic Director of the Narnia Festival which in July brings students from around the world to Narni, Italy to train and perform with leading musicians.

When not performing, Cristiana is a spokesperson for her native region of Umbria’s tourism and has been given the title of “Ambassador of St. Valentine to the World” by St. Valentine’s (and Cristiana’s) hometown of Terni, Italy.
