Haley Johnson is a First Lieutenant currently stationed at Fort Benning, GA assigned to 14th CSH working on the Mother-Baby Unit at Martin Army Community Hospital. Her first duty assignment was Joint Base San Antonio where she worked at the hospital’s Bone Marrow Transplant Unit prior to her compassionate reassignment to Fort Benning in 2019. She is a first generation college student and attended Kennesaw State University in Georgia on a national ROTC scholarship in 2012. During her ROTC career she attended Airborne school and competed on the Georgia Tech’s Ranger Challenge Team. She graduated with her nursing degree and started active duty December of 2016. She has competed in many fitness and physique sport competitions over the years and most recently competed on season two of NBC’s “The Titan Games”. The televised fitness competition series is hosted by The Rock and this season premiered May 25, 2020. 1LT Johnson appears on four consecutive episodes, 9,10,11, and 12. It was at the casting for this show that she met her now husband and they both welcomed a new baby into their lives this year.

Lorraine Silvetz received her BFA from N.Y.U. Film School and her Master’s from N.Y.U. School of Social Work in 2005. She is a psychotherapist, active in philanthropy, having founded Global Stress Initiative (GSI) under the International Committee Against Mental Illness (ICAMI), a mental health foundation directed by her Uncle, Robert Cancro, MD in 2010. ICAMI-GSI’s goal is to provide non-invasive treatment for survivors of trauma. GSI utilizes individualized transcranial magnetic stimulation (iTMS) for the treatment of service members, domestic violence and human trafficking survivors impacted by PTSD.

Her early career was spent as an accomplished dancer, athlete and coach (15x Boston Marathon Qualifier), MAC makeup artist, and Paul Mitchell hairdresser, and degrees in art and science. She has recently returned to school studying neuroscience, kinesiology, and nutrition with hopes to apply this knowledge to a continued career in mental health.

Melisa Cristaldi was born in Argentina, where she studied to become a physical therapist and volunteered for several non-profits raising awareness about health issues in low income communities. Passionate about helping patients through clinical research, she devoted her career to stem cell and autism research. After moving to New York in 2012, she pursued her Masters degree in Clinical Research Administration at George Washington University and currently works in the immuno oncology, stem cell research and treatment field and is a fervent advocate of this cause to improve people’s lives.

Carissa Lawson is the morning news anchor at News 12 New Jersey. She is a New York City native who grew up in Queens. Lawson is a proud graduate of New York University with a degree in broadcast journalism. Lawson has won an Associated Press Award for feature reporting. She co-anchored the newscast at the CBS affiliate in Louisville that received the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for best newscast. Janel Tanna is an actress, occasional producer and screenwriter who, just four years into her career, has appeared in more than twenty projects. Cassandra Seidenfeld is a graduate of Columbia University 2013, a Professional Actor, Humanitarian and an athlete. She is also active philanthropically. Cassandra received the 2016 Women4Empowerment Gold Medal of Honor for her philanthropic work closely associated with empowering women and young girls. Rick Galvin partnered with Ivonne to make this Gala a grand success. Rick founded the Carol Galvin foundation in memory of his mother who he lost to cancer at age 11. Carol’s battle with cancer lasted four years. Because of his youth and the stress of watching a loved one die, Rick was not at his mother’s bedside on the night she passed. The guilt over not being there has haunted him ever since.

Domingo Zapata is a Spanish-American artist born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

Zapata produces Neo-Expressionist paintings as well as sculpture using both oil and acrylic, often incorporating mixed-media, collage and graffiti.

Daniel Mazzone was born and raised in Toronto, Canada.

As part of an artistic family, he was surrounded by a world of visual concepts and expression. His mother was an art instructor, and Mazzone became particularly interested in the composition and production of stained glass at a young age.

Using letters, newspaper stories, magazines covers, song lyrics, and photographs, Mazzone works freehand to carve shapes that fit together like pieces of a puzzle. WHAT:
The inaugural Blue Jacket Fashion Show and Dinner was held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Pier 59 Studios during New York Men’s Fashion Week. In partnership with Johnson & Johnson, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show benefited the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), founded by philanthropist and financier Michael Milken. Money raised will go towards funding cutting-edge research that will save, extend and improve the lives of not only prostate cancer patients but other cancer patients as well.

The Blue Jacket Fashion Show brought together the fashion, entertainment, sports, healthcare, and media worlds around a national platform to openly discuss men’s cancer issues, with an emphasis on prostate cancer. Coinciding with February’s Cancer Prevention Month and New York Men’s Fashion Week, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show included designers such as John Varvatos, Nick Graham, Joseph Abboud, Nicole Miller, Rag and Bone, Proper Cloth, Stephen F, Maggie Norris, Gustavo Moscoso, Thom Browne and Haspel who used their creative talents to “reinvent” the traditional blue blazer.

Those walking the runway wearing one-of-a-kind blue jackets included models, actors, athletes, members of the media, and business titans. Among those walking were actor Mario Cantone, musician and model Ian Mellencamp, New York Giants Wide Receiver Victor Cruz, TV personality Carson Kressley, science educator and host of the forthcoming Netflix series Bill Nye Saves the World Bill Nye, New York Yankees Pitcher CC Sabathia, New York Post’s Richard Johnson, model Alex Lundqvist, and CNN Anchor Don Lemon. Several of the specially designed jackets modeled during the show will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

The fashion show was followed by a cocktail reception and a 3-course dinner, featuring seasonal ingredients and Mediterranean inspired dishes, designed by Executive Chef Simone Cucchiara. While guests were enjoying dinner, President and CEO of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Dr. Jonathan Simons, addressed the attendees and thanked them for making it a memorable first Blue Jacket event in support of prostate cancer research and hoping to see everyone next year, making the Blue Jacket Fashion Show and Dinner a new annual event. A silent auction was also held, featuring sought-after sports memorabilia and original artworks, all proceeds benefiting the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
