Gloria Waslyn and her “Parrots for Peace” and Phil Sauers make a special announcement that the new “Water Not Weapons” website will be online shortly and then introduce Ted Schulman the designer who is sitting in the audience. Phil Sauers then segues into the raffle of the Hugg-A-Planets with Beth Corliss-Lamont drawing the winning tickets out of the hat. The Grand Prize was the Giant Hugg-A-Planet that was autographed by Pete Seeger and all the performers at last years 1st Annual Water Festival. The winner of the Grand Prize was the amazing 96 year old Bernice Silver who is on the Board of Directors the NYC Friends of Clearwater.

Joel Landy then leads the standing room only audience in singing “This Land Is Your Land” to bring to a Grand Finale this 2nd Annual NYC Water Festival produced by the New York City chapter of the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater.

Good News Broadcast is honored to have been apart of creating this annual event that was a dream of Pete Seeger’s and is now guaranteed to continue being held each year on the “Frying Pan” Pier at 26th Street on the Hudson River for many years & years to come.
