The New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) held its 30th Annual Muse Awards Luncheon for Outstanding Vision & Achievement at the New York Hilton in New York City on December 8, 2010. Over 1,000 NYWIFT members attended this Luncheon which is one of the New York entertainment industry’s favorite events of the holiday season and celebrates the vision and achievement of women who work in film and television.


This year, NYWIFT’s 30th, wasas inspiring as ever. In addition to presenting four remarkable women with the Muse Award to Cindi Berger, Chairman and CEO of PMK BNC Public Relations, Pat Swinney Kaufman, New York State Film Commissioner, Abbe Raven, President and CEO of A&E Television Networks, and Vanessa Williams, a multi-talented actor and performer, NYWIFT presented The Loreen Arbus Award for Those Who Take Action & Effect Change to actor and activist Marsha Hunt for almost seven decades of service to others. Sade Baderinwa, Emmy-award winning journalist at ABC Eyewitness News, was Master of Ceremonies.

NYWIFT, supporters and friends raised a glass to their Muses, celebrated their inspiring stories, and mingled with friends and colleagues at a champagne reception preceeding the sit down Luncheon and later at a dessert reception immediately following the Luncheon.
