Avadora Mimouni Collection was featured at Prestige Models NYFW show 2022. Model and Designer, Avadora Mimouni, is a gem, as is her line of “wearable art” luxury bags adorned with semi-precious stones and upcycled materials. They are becoming increasingly popular among women who want to look and feel like the gems they are. Inspired designer and model, Avadora Mimouni was born in the Azores archipelago of Portugal. Avadora’s creative ways started in her youth. She expressed herself through theater and modeling in fashion boutiques. She moved to Manhattan in 1994. She soon pursued modeling and graced the covers of magazines, walked prestigious runways, and appeared in acting roles. Her latest role is as an inspired designer, helping make the world and its inhabitants more beautiful.

In 2017, Avadora attended an event wearing a one-of-a-kind purse she created and was surprised by the immense adulation. She was immediately inspired to launch her Avadora Mimouni Collection that same year. Her collection received dramatic admiration from women of all ages. Her startling and gorgeous luxury bags are “wearable works of art,” making those who carry them look and feel more beautiful.

Avadora Mimouni Collection inspired many former models from the 90’s, 2000’s to return to the runway, during NY Fashion Week 2019, 2020, and 2022, to strut their stuff for the camera while making a difference in the world. Her luxury “wearable art” bags inspired the models to not only look their best but to promote causes, far and wide, through their inspired “fashion runway advocacy”. Several of the models who appear in Avadora’s NYFW shows became active in philanthropy after their modeling careers.

One of the star models, is 3 Time Emmy Award Winning Anchor and NY Times Best Selling Author, Rita Cosby. United Nations International Public Private Partnership Center of Excellence Comes to Louisiana
Television Interviews with Presenters and Key Participants
for local Television Stations
This is a private event, produced by the International Sustainable Resilience Center (SDRC), is not open to the public. We are offering live interviews to local television stations in each city during this unique, international event, featuring working sessions with the United Nations International Public Private Partnership Center of Excellence (ICoE) and twelve regional organizations that work with Louisiana businesses involved in larger public projects around the state, along with eight specialist centers working under the direction of the ICoE, including centers from Portugal, Spain, France, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Tokyo, who will hold sessions together in bringing knowledge of “people first” public private partnerships to enhance resilience and provide for robust infrastructure in Louisiana.
We will have an experienced broadcast crew at the event that will be recording interviews. Your station can simply provide a reporter and we will give you a copy of the interview when it is completed. If you wish, you can set up a remote broadcast in front of the venue to provide additional coverage.

THE WHO
The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe International Public Private Partnership Center of Excellence (ICoE) and its’ affiliated Specialist Center for Disaster Resilience and Recovery, the International Sustainable Resilience Center (ISRC) are coproducing a first of its kind ever event in Louisiana. ISRC is one of eight specialist centers of excellence that will be convening in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lake Charles from March 2nd to 6th, 2020. ISRC, headquartered in New Orleans, will welcome centers based in Portugal, Spain, France, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Tokyo who will hold sessions together in bringing knowledge of “people first” public private partnerships to enhance resilience and provide for robust infrastructure in Louisiana.
These centers have realized that the value of their work could be leveraged by acting together and have chosen Louisiana as the location for a pilot project that can be replicated worldwide. The ICoE , a unit of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe division of Economic Cooperation and trade will also attend, and will be represented by its chief Geoffrey Hamilton and Chief Tony Bonnici. Both have committed to assist Louisiana in any way possible regarding trade and foreign direct investment as well.
THE WHAT
This spring thought leaders from all around the globe will gather in three key Louisiana cities to make connections and brainstorm ways to improve our state’s ability to enter into public private partnerships that will work for everyone.
Co-produced by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the International Sustainable Resilience Center based in New Orleans, this first-of-its-kind ever event will feature experts from France, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and the U.S.
Sessions will center around “people first” public private partnerships in the following areas, with all focusing on the overriding importance of resilience:
• Transportation
• Water and Sanitation
• Smart, Sustainable Cities
• Ports
• Law and Policy
• Local/Regional Governance
• Disaster Resilience and Recovery

Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (1978), Ivn Martn is one of the most outstanding artists of his generation in todays spanish musical panorama. He is winner of several piano competitions as Infanta Cristina, Marisa Montiel, Juventudes Musicales, “Frechilla-Zuloaga” Piano Competition, Antoni Torrandell, Pedro Espinosa, Mozart Competition, Arenas School, etc. He has received scholarships from Real Musical (Gran Canaria) and Rotary Club Internacional. He has recorded numerous programs for radio and television in Spain, France, Italy, Brazil, Uruguay and The United States.

As a composer and musical investigator, he has been a founding member of Aula de Msica Actual (Las Palmas Conservatory of Music), giving masterclasses concerning new technologies for Gran Canaria University, and likewise, he has achieved various premieres such as Landscapes comissioned by Italian Radio Television (RAI), or Ictus piano series collaborating with british painter James Lambourne, premiered at Valldemossa International Chopin Festival. He has offered several piano masterclasses for New York Keyboard Festival and Institute, Montevideos Spanish Cultural Centre and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Conservatory.

He recently made his debut as a conductor performing Bach and Mozart piano concertos with Bach Project Orchestra founded by himself with support of Spanish Jeunesses Musicales and Teatre del Liceo Chamber Orchestra (Barcelona), and performed a debut recital in La roque dAnthron International Piano Festival and International Keyboard Festival of New York, and in the cities of Monterey, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington, obtaining a great response from critics and audience. He has also completed a concert tour with Jeunesses Musicales World Simphony Orchestra and conductor Josep Vicent that led him through the most important halls such as Berliner Philarmonie, Amsterdem Muziekgebouw or Palau de las Arts Reina Sofa (Valencia, Spain). Future engagements include presentations at the renowned New York Carnegie Hall, United States, Canada, South America, France, Germany, Austria, Swiss, Italy, and Spain, performing piano solo recitals and collaborating with several orchestras and conductors such as Gerd Albrecht or Gnther Herbig. Likewise, he is preparing his first recording project for Warner concerning spanish composer Antonio Solers piano works.
