New Survey Finds Lack of Communication Between Moms & Healthcare Providers

There are approximately six million pregnancies a year throughout the United States. And one thing that every pregnant woman needs is information. However, a new survey reveals that a majority of new and expectant moms have not discussed preterm birth with their healthcare provider, despite the fact that more than half a million babies each year are born preterm.

In addition to preterm birth, there are a number of things every pregnant woman needs to know.

Dr. Alan Fleischman, medical director of March of Dimes, the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. He will offer tips for starting the conversation with their doctors and ways to make healthy changes that will be best for baby.
