SIGHT 101

SIGHT (Chinese Ming) caused a huge response after it premiered in Los Angeles last week. The film was canceled by Universal Pictures a week before its release last year, but Angel Pictures – a faith-based studio – picked it up. Now, SIGHT is becoming a national talking point – check out Entertainment Tonight. Interviews with Dr. Wang Mingxu and the lead actors based on the real experiences of the filmmakers are currently the most talked about news! Last week it was the first three. It has risen to number one today!

There’s no better time to release the film nationwide than on Memorial Day Weekend. Not only do our soldiers fight and die for freedom, but our immigrants sacrifice and contribute, as Dr. Wong did, to make this country one of the most remarkable places on Earth. Just like Dr. Wang and Chong Chen have chosen to regard the United States as their own country, they have their roots in their native land.

SIGHT 102：
In 2021, Dr. Wang shot the film in Vancouver, which is 99% staged; In 2023, Dr. Yi brought the film to the Asian community of Flushing, New York, by launching the first national cultural campaign, “SIGHT – National Benefit.”

Universal canceled the show a week before its release last year. After a year of traveling, 50,000 Christians and immigrants in 40 states watched the film on Dr. Wang’s computer. On February 2, during the Chinese New Year, Angel Studio signed the contract to release SIGHT.
SIGHT opens on May 24 at major movie chains across America. Angel Studio had a taste of success with The Sound of Freedom, a $15 million film that took more than 290 million at the box office. The Sound of Liberty took 4 years to get to theaters after being rejected by Disney
