]]> For his newest project, Meet the Face of Change, Rick Smolan is focusing his lens on the faces of people with type 2 diabetes. This nationally touring photo exhibit documents – and celebrates – the lives of a diverse range of people who are making changes to help better manage their condition. Type 2 diabetes patient, and 6-time Chicago Marathon finisher, Rudy Moyado is one of the faces featured in the tour. The exhibit will showcase people like Rudy who have overcome barriers and fears often associated with having diabetes. More than 18 million Americans are living with type 2 diabetes, which accounts for about 90-to-95% of people with diabetes in the United States.
