The America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF) held its sold out 71st Anniversary Gala Concert on October 17, 2010. Over 1100 people attended this beautiful Gala Concert at theFrederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, inNew York City.

This year’s Gala included a VIP reception prior to the concert and celebrated recipients, past and present, in music, dance, and the visual arts.

Performers included:
Gil Shaham and Orli Shaham
Tal Adler-Arieli and Joseph Chaikin, dancing to original choreography and accompanied by cellist Inbal Megiddo
The musical group Shorashim, led by Magda Fishman and including Gilad and Yuval Cohen, Nadav Snir, and Ofer Assaf.

Rising young stars Motti Bentov (age 13, piano) and Mark Karlinsky (age 10, violin) performed beautifully and joinedthe AICFfrom Israel. Also featured were pianist Igal Kesselman, accompanying Mark Karlinsky. A pictorial history of AICF, as well as selections from alumni visual artists, were featured in the Rose Hall Atrium. Tickets started at $200.
