GOOD NEWS CORPORATION: Our nonprofit, Good News Corporation, GNC, est. 2002 as a humanitarian media corporation to share the Good of the World and help to bring more Peace on Mother Earth. Since our inception, GNC has been promoting Peace, Love, and HOPE and giving to ALL. We have been involved with the International Day of Peace since 2002, with concerts in Central Park and Times Square and around the world on September 21, strengthening the message of the UN for a Moment of Silence. We call it www.pausetheworldforpeace.org. We also helped to raise money for Katrina Victims, Feeding Starving people in Tanzania, and other humanitarian projects. 

FOUNDER & COMPANY BACKGROUND: MBC was founded by Paul Sladkus, prior to MBC, starting in 1972 Paul worked at CBS TV in New York and LA on historic TV Shows: All in the Family, Carol Burnett, Sonny and Cher, Price is Right, Love of Life Soap Opera. Paul then went to PBS Channel 13 where he worked on the Nature and Brain Series and became the Business Manager of the Metropolitan Division and oversaw General Support Announcements…commercials on PBS. Paul worked on over 150 Network Programs and Series. Then as the Director of Marketing for WNYC Paul met some of the foreign broadcasters, especially the Asian and European, and decided to create Paul Sladkus International, a full-service multicultural marketing organization and media rep with clients mentioned above. They did hundreds of projects. Here are the broadcast websites: www.goodnewsplanet.TV. www.youtube.com/goodnewsbroadcast. 

Paul also founded GNC, as a nonprofit in 2002 with www.pausetheworldforpeace.org due to his passion for using MEDIA FOR THE GOOD, TO SHARE ALL THE PEACE OF THE WORLD AND TO PAUSE THE WORLD FOR PEACE ON SEPTEMBER 21 AT 12 NOON WITH THE DESIRE THAT PEACE & LOVE CONTINUES ON FROM THAT MOMENT FORWARD, WHERE THERE ISN’T PEACE.  

 Reminder, I will broadcasting on Paul Sladkus Facebook Live on October 13-15th from Italy Coldiretti Italian Food Event Rome Circus Maximum- www.pausetheworldforpeace.org, www.goodnewsplanet.TV, www.youtube.com/goodnewsbroadcast has been invited to produce our shows at this important sustainable food event from October 13 – 15th, not sure exact times TBD, so stay tuned. We will also edit the event and broadcast. We have made many shows in Italy and around the world, over 6, 500+ and we are being sent by the Italian Government.

I love this line, which comes from a quote by Melodie Beattie, which reads in its entirety:

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.”

And I would add this thought — that without gratitude, you can turn any paradise into hell.

Without gratitude, you will always walk away from the table still starving — no matter what measure of abundance has been laid before you.

Without gratitude, every job is the worst job on earth, every spouse is deficient, every friend lets you down, every home is on the wrong street, every gift is the wrong size, every novel is full of typos, every mattress is uncomfortable, every cup of coffee is too weak.

Without gratitude, every choice you ever made will always feel like the wrong choice.

Without gratitude, summers will always be too hot; winters will always be too cold. The music will always be too loud, the movie will always suck, the teenagers will always be too rude.

Without gratitude, people who vote or worship differently from you will always be monsters in your eyes. Without gratitude, you will always feel you were born into the wrong family. Without gratitude, the waitress will always be too slow, and you will always get the worst seat on the bus. Without gratitude, every driver on the road except you is an idiot.

Without gratitude, life is The Misery.

These three things are so true…

1) There is no happiness without gratitude
2) There is no transformation without self-accountability
3) There is no peace without forgiveness

But first among those — the alchemy of all alchemies — is gratitude.

If we learn nothing else while we’re here, then, we must learn how to say THANK YOU.
