Why do I say that, “It’s not easy to be good, but truly worth it?” Because to be good it’s all about EVERYONE ELSE, NOT YOURSELF. For example, when you give someone your seat…you now have to stand, when you walk someone across the street…you might be delayed to where you are going…when you volunteer…you can’t do something else with your time…BUT IN ALL THESE SITUATIONS AND MORE…you gain respect for yourself and respect from the ones you helped and RESPECT AND HONOR IS A BLESSING.

GOOD NEWS VOLUNTEERED with the FOOD RECOVERY NETWORK on Super Bowl Sunday at the Cow Palace Parking Lot in San Francisco for a Guy Fieri’s Tailgate Party. HELLMANN’S MAYO/UNILEVER HELPED SUPPORT THE FOOD RECOVERY NETWORK OUTREACH. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT ALMOST 15,000 POUNDS OF FOOD WAS RECOVERED AND BROUGHT TO THE DELANCEY FOUNDATION TO BE GIVEN TO THOSE IN NEED. 

Student-Led Food Recovery Network (FRN) – now the largest in the US – is making a Big Impact during the Big Game. FRN and Hellmann’s Mayonnaise are working together so that no food gets wasted and goes to families in need in the Bay Area. Good News, Paul Sladkus & Ivy Ma are volunteering at Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate food location.

ONE STORY OF FOR MOTHER EARTH starts with this weekend’s Super Bowl and the Food Recovery Network (FRN), UNILEVER/Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, and Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate…   

GOOD NEWS will be volunteering at the COW PALACE IN SAN FRANCISCO WITH THE FOOD RECOVERY NETWORK FROM Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate Major Party…  they expect to give over 10,000 pounds to two San Francisco food locations for those in need.

Student-Led Food Recovery Network (FRN) – now the largest in the US – is making a Big Impact during the Big Game. Super Bowl XLIX wasn’t only a success for the New England Patriots. NBC also scored big with the Super Bowl earning its highest overnight ratings in history. It delivered a 49.7 overnight rating, which was in no small part to the tight game. The Pats scored two unanswered fourth-quarter touchdowns and staved off a last-minute miracle catch to win Super Bowl XLIX, 28-24. With 2:02 left, Russell Wilson marched the Seattle Seahawks down the field, complete with a miracle catch by Jermaine Kearse, who snared a tipped ball from the ground. But with the ball at the 1-yard line, Seattle Coach Pete Carroll opted to throw the ball with less than 30 seconds left. New England DB Malcolm Butler picked off Wilson’s pass to finish the game and give the Patriots their fourth Super Bowl victory. Tom Brady set a Super Bowl record with 37 completions and four TDs on 328 yards. Julian Edelman caught nine passes for 109 yards and the game-winning touchdown.
