<p><b>Yamato the Drummers of Japan</b> are sure to take you on a wild ride! Yamato was founded by Masa Ogawa in 1993 in Nara, &#8216;the land of Yamato&#8217; which is said to be the birthplace of Japanese culture. With a motto that calls &#8220;to make the world a little more happy,&#8221; Yamato travels all over the world with Japan&#8217;s traditional Wadaiko drums, putting its very souls into the unusual instruments, whose sound stirs the hearts of people everywhere.</p>

<p><b>Pace University&#8217;s Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts</b>, located within the University&#8217;s downtown campus, has been an active part of Manhattan&#8217;s artistic community for over 35 years.
