]]> Zhen ‘Joy’ Lin gave an impromptu performance in the new Good News Broadcast Studios on Fifth Avenue in New York! What started as a casual visit turned into a photo shoot, an interview, and a spontaneous piano composition and performance… which we were lucky enough to capture. You can see the spontaneous composition and performance Joy, the performer, called this piece “Water from Heaven”. When she completed the piece, we got into a discussion about the nature of art: Is it something that must be reproducible? Is it something that must be expressed the same way each time it is beheld? Or: Is art something that comes from a deeper source? Could art be the source of the expression, rather than the expression itself? You can decide by listening in. This piece, “Water from Heaven”, is dedicated to the World Water Project, and played in honor of Gilles Yard’s birthday… today! We hope you enjoy the performance.?
