Dr. Hong Tao-Tze, President of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL), and his late wife, Mrs. Yu Mei-Jung (Mrs. Hong), have devoted their lives to promoting the ideals of love and peace. Three years ago, Mrs. Yu peacefully bid farewell to us, leaving behind a paradigm legacy that continues to inspire world citizens.

A Life Devoted to Service:

Mrs. Yu, Mei-Jung wholeheartedly supported Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the Zhang-mem-ren (leader) of Tai Ji Men, Vice President of the Association of World Citizens, and the President of the Federation of World Peace and Love. She fulfilled her mission of helping others and the world by traveling to every populated continent, including visits to more than 100 countries to promote the culture of conscience and peace, garnering wide recognition and building precious friendships with countless international advocates. She worked with Dr. Hong to establish FOWPAL, the renowned peace organization. Together with Dr. Hong, she helped establish Tai Ji Men academies worldwide, providing spaces for tens of thousands of families to enhance their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Honoring Love and Peace: A Tribute to Mrs. Yu Mei-Jung

As we honor Mrs. Yu’s legacy, we cordially invite you to [Illuminating the Light of Peace with Love and Conscience] series of events:

1. 「Concert of Thanksgiving and Memorial Prayer」: on April 7th (3:00 pm – 5:00 pm), at the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in Pasadena, CA, We will feature an ancient and solemn bell-ringing ceremony, and a cultural gem performance blending music, dance, and martial arts to honor Mrs. Yu, the spouse of Tai Ji Men Zhang-men-ren, and the FOPWAL Vice President’s lifetime aspirations and actions for love and peace. This event also aims to promote the International Day of the Power of Hope, illuminating the Light of Peace, and connecting the world with the promise of peace and protecting it with hope and energy.

2. 「Celebration of the 5th International Day of Conscience」: On April 6th (1:30 pm – 5:30 pm) at the Pasadena City Hall, we mark the significance of conscience and good deeds with bell ringing, cultural performances, prayers, and an action plan for our shared future.

3. 「FOWPAL World Leader Summit of Love and Peace」: Distinguished global leaders gather on April 5th (6:30 pm – 8:30 pm) at Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia to discuss innovative solutions for pressing for global challenges. This summit encourages collaboration and fosters a spirit of peace that transcends borders. We look forward to making tangible contributions to global unity and peace in 2024 through our collective consensus and action.

We cordially invite friends from all corners of the world to join us in commemorating the gentle and influential love of Mrs. Yu through this series of activities. Let us join hands, uphold the spirit of conscience, love, and peace, and contribute to the well-being of the world together.

If you are unable to attend, you may send a representative to participate. Please also provide your tribute to Mrs. Yu. Additionally, in honor of Mrs. Yu’s selfless dedication to the world, we would like to invite you (or your organization) to present a citation for her contributions to cultural heritage, love, and peace in the world. This citation will be presented at the 0407 event and preserved for posterity in the archives of Tai Ji Men and FOWPAL.

I am Mojima Etokudo from Akwa Ibom State in southern Nigeria, West Africa. I came in contact with May Peace Prevail on Earth International then World Peace Prayer Society in 1995 at the age of 19 during my short course on music at the National Theological Academy Ukanafun in Akwa Ibom State as a circular musician. I became Interested about the philosophy of the organization which centered on peaceful coexistence with all race and I applied for membership through regular mail.

In 1996, one of my musical album with the title “Give Them Right” was dedicated to the World Peace Prayer Society.

I was involved in various activities geared towards the promotion of the universal Prayer for world Peace “MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH” I also engaged students in our local schools and youths in our community on peace club, raising the consciousness of Peace on young people on the need for peace among their fellow human being and all life on Earth.

I 2001, I was recognized as the official Nigeria Peace Representative for the World Peace Prayer Society now May Peace Prevail on Earth International.

In 2002, I was privilege to participate at the All African Peace Representative Conference in Accra, Ghana, in this conference, the international president of May Peace Prevail on Earth International Mr Hiroo Saionji, the then Executive Director Rev Deborah Moldow, the Germany Representative Mr Patrick Petit, the Minister of Finance in Ghana and many others across the world.

It was a great privilege to meet other Peace Representative and Peace Enthusiasts at the conference.

In 2003, we organized our first United Nations International Day of Peace Celebration in Nigeria at Ukanafun Local Government Council Hall which has in attendance, Religious leaders, Legislators and other Political leaders, Traditional Rulers School Children and the media. Peace Pole was planted in front of the Ukanafun Local Government council Secretariat and other leaders in attendance receives it Desktop Peace Poles.

Since then, we have been celebrating yearly the UN International Day of Peace across Nigeria and many Peace Poles planted in schools, private homes, please of worship, Palaces of some Kings in the area and over 1000 Desktop Peace Pole to many in Nigeria and the Palestine during my trips to Israel and the Palestine.

When I recalled my pains as an orphan who lost both parents at the age of 8 and 14 years old without government scholarship to go to school and Family feeding support, I think of the downtrodden in the society and mostly the hinterland, we build in as part of our UN International Day of Peace activities to raised funds to trained the vunrable on Free Skill acquisition which we have successfully trained 50 young people on various trades and equipped some based on our available resources.

More would have been done but no sponsorship from the government of Nigeria and I hope we will have their support in the future so we can do more for humanity.

I pray for international support and locally to do more for humanity.

PLANS FOR 2022 UN INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE IN NIGERIA:

Our plans for this year’s UN International Day of Peace is in top gear as we plan for a week long event that will climax on September 21, 2022. Our planned activities include the following to compliment the theme of the 2022 UNIDP : “END RACISM, BUILD PEACE’.

1. We will visit Traditional Rulers in various county/ State council as much as our resources can go, and sensitize them on the need to live in harmony.

2. Same with some political leaders
3. Same with Religious leaders
4. Same with Media houses
5. Same with School children and Teachers etc.

Then on September 21, we hope to gather at Uyo the Akwa Ibom State Headquarters for the grand finale at a ceremony that hopes to bring leaders and students together for a public lecture on the theme “END RACISM, BUILD PEACE” . Desktop Peace Poles will be awarded to leaders at many levels and World Peace Ceremony where Flags of all Nations will be raise for Prayers and lot more. Pray for resources to implement all these lofty plans.

I am an Evangelist serving the local church of Christ in rural areas of Nigeria, I engage in petty farming to keep my family and volunteer efforts, I also serve in the local government at the traditional rulers council as principal executive officer and a volunteer Peace Representative in Nigeria to the May Peace Prevail on Earth International. Song and video celebrate the loyalty of the hard rock community with a video that captures the band past and present

LOS ANGELES, January 14th, 2022: “Like millions of others around the globe, we’re ready to rock again,” says Loverboy guitarist/co-founding member Paul Dean about their return to recording and the concert stage in 2022.

The band’s new single, “Release,” slated for release in mid-January on all digital streaming platforms, is a full-throttle rocker Paul had been working on, at first intended for an unnamed metal band which approached him as a songwriter/producer to work with them. But when that didn’t pan out, Dean decided to reach out to the other members of Loverboy to gauge their interest in recording it as their next single, which became “Release.”

“It started out as a frustrated call to action, after months of lock down, and morphed into a metal anthem about the loyalty and commitment of that audience,” said Dean, with lyrics inspired by Sam Dunn’s 2005 documentary Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey. They could well apply to Loverboy itself, going strong more than four decades after forming in Calgary in 1979.

“The communal aspect of heavy rock is almost like a religion,” says Paul. “I’ve always been a big metal fan; My son and I have seen many of those bands in concert.”

Paul started with no music, just the phrase, “I need a release,” and eventually finished writing it, before soliciting the other members of Loverboy, starting with lead singer Mike Reno, who contributed vocals and some evocative lyrics like “It’s a frontal attack/It’s a matter of fact.”And when he continues, “Thinkin’ bout me and you/Couldn’t stop if we wanted to/It’s a bond that can’t be broken/Never broken,” Reno could be talking about the long-term relationships within the band or with their own steadfast fans. Paul recorded Mike’s vocals in a single afternoon at Reno’s Vancouver home studio. “Mike always provides that great energy,” says Paul.

Doug Johnson then added his trademarked keyboard riffs. “He’s such an amazing player and an essential part of the band,” acknowledged Dean. Then, drummer Matt Frenette and bassist Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve, who joined the band in 2001 when original member Scott Smith drowned in a boating accident, provided the always-solid foundation, making “Release” a potent Loverboy anthem in the style of “Working for the Weekend,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” and “Turn Me Loose.”

Working remotely, Frenette sent Dean seven different possible drum “takes” for the track. “That was amazing,” said Paul. “It totally blew me away. And Matt was very helpful in putting the video together as well, he had some great ideas.”

Dean adds, “Looks like we’re finally going to get that “Release” this January, when we play together live for the first time in nearly 2 years!”

Loverboy’s upcoming tour dates include January 23 with Rick Springfield at the Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom in Ridgefield, WA and headlining shows March 3rd and 4th in Windsor and Sarnia, ON. Loverboy will then join fellow rockers Styx and REO Speedwagon for the Live Nation promoted “Live & UnZoomed” tour that kicks off May 31, 2022, in Grand Rapids, MI at the Van Andel Arena.

Loverboy has four multi-platinum albums, including the four-million-selling Get Lucky, and a trio of double-platinum releases in their self-titled 1980 debut, 1983’s Keep It Up and 1985’s “Lovin’ Every Minute of It.” Their string of hits includes, in addition to the arena-rock anthem “Working for the Weekend,” such staples as “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” “This Could Be the Night,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “Heaven in Your Eyes,” “Turn Me Loose,” “When It’s Over,” “Heaven In Your Eyes,” and “Queen of the Broken Hearts.”
