Our PEACE initiative continues…Our Peace Day Party nonproit will be the CLOSING ORGANIZATION for the People’s Climate March on 9/21. We will create a walking HUMAN PEACE SIGN, meeting at 12:30PM at 72nd/Central Park West. United we will walk the route and close the March, with a very big Peace Sign at aprox. 38th/11th.
This will follow our Human Peace Sign Ceremony, as part of the Vigil for International Peace and Ecology in Central Park Band Shell at 72nd street/The Mall. We gather there at 10am.

Martina Bruno will sing let there be peace on earth for the peace day event.
Martina Bruno is a native New Yorker from Jamaica, Queens; and has been singing since the age of four and acting since the age of 12. She is a graduate of SUNY Purchase College, where she also studied abroad Mantua, Italy. In her time abroad, Martina was a student of the Conservatorio Di Mantova. Upon her return she has performed in numerous New York City’s underground clubs, presenting a synthesis of Hip Hop and Classical Song.

At only 16 years old, a junior, in high school, it was on December 11, 2008 when Amanda Suzanne Brownell tried to take her life in a bathroom at Del Mar High School in San Jose, California. This was a result of the bullying, sexual bullying, and cyber bullying she endured through MySpace, Facebook, AIM, and the 3500 text MESSAGES she received the month before her suicide attempt. Amanda, suffered severe brain damage, unable to speak or care for herself.
After almost 4 and 1/2 years Amanda decided that her job here was done. She was hospitalized with pneumonia and seizures on March 13, 2013, while her parents were in Hawaii on vacation. Nick Loeb spent a summer in High School living with his high school friend, Todd Swedock and father Teddy Swedock, whom he became very close with. Teddy passed away of ALS earlier this year so Loeb is hosting an invite-only charity pool party and ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at his East Hampton estate. The event will kick-off at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 23rd where Loeb will contribute $100 to ALS for everyone who participates in the Ice Bucket Challenge.
