The representative of founding members of Global Happiness Coalition: Costa Rica, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Portugal, Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates, who suggest a collaboration to have one united and consolidate event to celebrate the of “International Day of Happiness” this year.
The Global Happiness Coalition is planning an interactive dialogue with the theme of “Happiness at the Center of Government Work” on March 20, 2018 between 10 and 11.30 am at the Delegates Room.
The event will feature round table discussions on happiness and public policy and includes 6 underpinning themes: Mental Health and Happiness, Positive Education, Social Connections, Work and Wellbeing, Happy Cities and Metrics, chaired by coalition and non-coalition Permanent Representatives and including policy makers, experts and international organization representatives. Roundtable chairs will share the outcomes of their discussions with all participants in the closing segment.
The event will be followed by a separate presentation of the World Happiness Report, produced by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) presented by Dr. Jeffrey Sachs director of SDSN, from 12-3pm in the same venue.
