The popularity of the Army’s annual Army Ten-Miler continues to increase! Race officials increased the ATM runner field to 35, 000 however, General Registration sold out again in just 9 hours. The Army’s premier running event will be conducted Sunday, Oct. 20 in Washington, DC at the U.S. Pentagon.
Priority Registration, presented by Navy Federal Credit Union, opened on May 1st and sold out in 11 hours. 10,000 entries were reserved in this session for U.S. Service Members and runners who have run seven or more ATM races.
Today’s May 15 General Registration, which opened to the general public sold out in just 9 hours.
“We are pleased to see that the Army’s race continues to have strong demand because of its Tradition of Excellence,” said Jim Vandak, race director. “Heavy volume in the opening hour resulted in some registration delays today but our registration contractor quickly resolved the issue.”

The Army’s 29th annual Army Ten-Miler (ATM) race is scheduled for Sunday, October 20 in Washington, DC at the U.S. Pentagon. Produced by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington (MDW) this prestigious race attracts more than 30,000 military and civilian runners from around the word.
