BACKGROUND: This year’s event comes on the heels of a unique Nielsen/AABDC collaboration to conduct a study dedicated to understanding the experiences of Asian American women in business and a successful Asian American Women Leadership Conference held in May. “The topic of increasing the presence of Asian women in business leadership is a critical element of AABDC’s mission to promote the development of Asian American entrepreneurs, executives and corporate leaders.” Says John Wang, President of AABDC. “I’ve seen first-hand how Asian American women bring intelligence, creativity, and vitality to the many spheres that they occupy. We will continue to promote successes of women who sit at the top of their fields, through our annual Outstanding 50 and Pinnacle awards.”
Over 600 leading business, political and civic leaders attend the annual award gala to pay tribute to the outstanding entrepreneurs and corporate executives in the Asian American business community from across The United States. AABDC: www.aabdc.com Outstanding 50 Awards: www.outstanding50award.com
