Queens “Walk for Kids Growth” to Increase Awareness
of Large Number of Children with Growth Hormone Deficiency

WHAT:
Research shows 48% of children with growth disorders have gone undiagnosed. The Walk for Kids Growth community-wide event, hosted by nonprofit Human Growth Foundation, will increase awareness of childhood growth disorders, growth hormone deficiency and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. Walk for Kids Growth will feature a scenic 3-mile fun walk, live musical entertainment by local teen band Before the Anchors, refreshments, display/educational booths, and giveaways.
