Royal Wine Corporation formally announced a top flight food and wine lineup for this year’s Fourth Annual Kosher Restaurant & Wine Experience (KRWE) and did not disappoint. The Wine & Food Festival was held on February 1, 2010 and opened up to the trade at 4:30pm and to the general public at 6:30pm in New York Citys Pier 60 of Chelsea Piers.
This highly anticipated annual event was a gala exhibition of top kosher wines from countries such as Italy, France, Israel, Spain, New Zealand and of course the United States. This years event was scheduled as a lead in to the Purim & Passover holidays the key kosher wine buying seasons of the calendar year. More than 40 of the worlds acclaimed wineries were in attendance to pour their finest wines. For the first time this year, 20 restaurants and food purveyors, who served small tastes of their exquisite cuisine, joined the wineries. This years event also included a special French Pavilion.
This elegant evening of Food & Wine also included seminars by leading wine experts.
KRWE tickets were $100 or $175 for a pair. As with previous years this years event was expected to draw a sellout crowd.
