Is Looking for America’s Funniest Kid Winner Will Be Able To Literally Eat His/Her Words The class clown might be onto something: comedy is creative. Being able to tell a joke also helps with skills like public speaking and communicating better with others. That’s some of the reasons many educators feel there is a place for comedy in the life of a good student. 9 year old Dustin Joiner knows comedy has some serious advantages for kids. He’s been a professional standup comic since he was 6. That’s why he’s been chosen to be one of the judges looking for America’s funniest kid. Justin is joined by his father. As a comedian, Dustin has performed for some tough audiences. So he knows what it takes to really get people rolling in the aisles. That’s why he’ll be looking for a kid who not only has personality and charisma, but also a really great laugh out loud joke. In fact, a joke that’s good enough to eat. As part of the prize for the “Eat My Words” Contest, the winner will receive a year’s supply of their own My Fruit Roll-Ups rolls that they can customize with messages and images or maybe even their winning joke. Parents who think their little “kid-median” has what it takes to win the “Eat My Words” contest can send in video of their 8 to 12 year olds telling their best joke through December 11th.
