Cells Stem Cell Breakthrough CEO Tells Your Listeners How Newly Discovered Stem Cell Technology Has the Potential to Improve Womens Health Stem cell technology has been a politically charged religious and medical issue that is still being debated. Now, one of the largest and most established family umbilical cord blood banks has announced its discovery of a new breakthrough stem cell technology that has ignited the interest of consumers, physicians and scientists. Cryo-Cell recently launched the world’s first-ever service allowing women to store their own menstrual stem cells. The new service, called C’elle (SM) (pronounced “see-ell”), enables women to collect their menstrual blood and the stem cells it contains. Researchers believe stem cells from menstrual blood may one day serve as a potential source for promising regenerative therapies to treat diseases ranging from diabetes to Alzheimers to anti-aging treatments. On Tuesday, Nov. 27th, Mercedes Walton, CEO and Chairman of the Board for Cryo-Cell, will discuss this new technology and the promise of adult stem cell reseach. Ms. Walton holds Masters degrees from Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). https://videos.whiteblox.com/gnb/secure/player.aspx?sid=35222
