The Collaborating for a Cure benefit and auction for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) is the second highest grossing charity event gala in New York City with a record $4 million raised in last years event. The event displays the energy and commitment SWCRFs supporters have in a search for the cure. This years 10th Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction for the SWCRF is expecting 1,200 guests and will be presented by Elin and Michael Nirenberg. The event will be hosted by Chevy Chase featuring a special live concert performance by Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh, performing songs of the Eagles and their solo hits along with a silent auction and a live auction led by C. Hugh Hildesley, Sothebys. Other celebrity guests attending the event will be Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minollo, Carrie Underwood, Ileana Douglas, Patti DArbanville and Son Jesse Johnson.
